downloads counts regardless if they subscribe or not so doing the math off downloads is not correct.Comment

Talk about jumping through hoops to find an angle to meet your bias.
ESPN had around $9.4 million
DAZN had nearly $8.8 million
Both growing about 7x YoY (Dazn a bit faster), and this is the most important part, its all about trajectory in this space, grow fast & acquire market share vs cash burn.Comment

Do you think only US counts? Money is money doesn't matter where it comes from. DAZN just launched in Brazil, as long as it keeps going up it's a win.

We know that is BS. Both Canelo and Joshua fights did over 1 mil live viewers. The BS you posted says they have 500k globally.Quick math:

ESPN+: 1,880,000 subscribers
DAZN: 586,667 subscribers globally, 158,400 US subscribers

Those numbers in that tweet are off. That's probably implying everyone in every country has purchased DAZN for $20 per month. Not the case.
But LMAO at anyone that thinks DAZN has 1.2 million subscribers in the US.Comment

Even though that tweet is wrong, what Canelo/Jacobs did worldwide in May is irrelevant to their July subscribers. A lot of those viewers for Canelo/Jacobs probably only subscribed for that month.Comment
