gee ever hear Marg complain he lost to a 16 to 1 underdog " boo hoo i didnt train like i should have, Don King wha wha wha.."
puh lease Marg would crush Judah...Judah is the most inconsitent fighter ive ever watched.
Margarito isn't good enough for anyone to be that big of an underdog to him. If Margarito would crush Judah, offer him a contract for December on Showtime and let's see him do it. You want to talk about Judah crying, but all we hear from Tony is his non-stop bawling because Mayweather won't fight him. Judah isn't a consistent fighter, but when he's focused he is one of the best fighters at 147.
Judah has only lost to two all-time greats (Tsyzu and PBF), Cory Spinks who is now considered the best at 154 (and he beat him in a rematch), and got upset by a Baldomir who is a bit better than people initially gave him credit for. Compare that to Margarito's losses to Rodney Jones, some other random bums, and Daniel Santos (a top 5 jr. middle). You're telling me a loss to Rodney Jones or whatever his name is is not as bad or equal to a loss to Baldomir?
I'm just fine with a Baldomir fight. Ya can never blame a guy for going after the legit champ.
The reason for Tony not getting his big fights is well-documented, and anyone who refuses to acknowledge the simple truth that Tony has been avoided by the divison's elite is kidding themselves. The best Tony could get to fight him were Cintron (who most thought would KO Tony), Lewis, Santos at 154 and the undefeated Kyvelos.
There is no use in accusing Tony of going easy when Floyd is doing the exact same thing and yet it is FLOYD (not Tony) who has the most control in all of boxing over who gets to fight him.
I acknowledge that the champs ducked him. But he didn't even fight the #1 contender in his own sanctioning body most of the time. Gomez was the #7 ranked welter by the WBO. There were and are good opponents that would add to his resume that he simply has not fought for whatever the reason. And I don't like what Floyd is doing right now but at least lets keep the criticism even. If one guy is being accused of ducking, I am not going to look the other way on another.
Mexico. Do you know how old fighters turn PRO in Mexico?
15!!! he didnt start his career with a bronze medal from the Olympics. fighting hand picked opponents to EASE him in to the pro's like fighters do with good contracts.
Marg as early as the beging of his career has never had an easy opponent
dummy
OK, let's just narrow it down to the last 5 years. What's the excuse now?

Why are Margarito's only options elite fighters or bums? Why won't he face other contenders like himself? Why would someone in Margarito's exact same position duck him? It's just ******...

How about his last fight. He didn't even fight the #1 contender of his own sanctioning body. He fought the #7 guy. Clearly it must have been because the top 6 were so afraid that they couldn't stop their hands from shaking long enough to sign the contract.

There are no fighters at 147 that Tony could have fought that would legitimize him any more than he is now. There haven't even been that many good fighters to fight at 147 for Tony. Tony has fought who would fight him and beat them.
I don't see why Judah would want Tony, and I've never heard Judah even mention Tony. It's not as simple as Tony calling out Judah...and honestly who calls out a fighter that has just lost twice in a row?
Margarito did EXACTLY what he should have done. Had his camp put up the big bucks for a Floyd fight. Had his camp put up the big bucks for a Winky fight.
Both guys turned him down. I can't say they thought they'd lose, but all the evidence clearly points to Tony being a respected fighter at 147.
