****** analogy. How many dirty fighters get caught in the U.S.? So should Euro fighters stop coming to the U.S because of the dirty fighter?

    • So when I posted last week that the fight probably won’t happen in Saudi Arabia, where are all the morons at now?

      • Great, more contract boxing.

I swear last week there the whole front page of the forum was threads on contracts and fights that were stalled FFS

Umm what analogy? Did Hearn just not cover up a dirty test? If he did it for the ugly step child he would do the same and more for the Golden Son.

But I have a feeling that Al Haymon is stalling the rematch as a way to get Andy Ruiz stripped of at least one title and possibly more so that it becomes vacant.. that way either Wilder or another PBC fighter can fight for the vacant title...
Sergey, Dibella, and Al Haymon kept rejecting Canelo's offers even though the offers from Golden Boy promotions were career high paydays and Canelo finally got stripped so why wouldn't they do that again??? If this is the plan from Al Haymon then it's absolutely pathetic! I hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't put it past Al Haymon doing this....
I like it! I definitely feel Al is behind this. You present a decent motive. I doubt Ruiz just got to thinking lol... People are so confident about how the contract is set for this match. There are a lot of possibilities.

Very true and if Ruiz refuses Saudi Arabia on a 'human rights' angle things could get interesting as I'm sure he'd have a good case with lots of support.

                • Ruiz is with PBC. as we saw with Ortiz turning Joshua fight down - the reward was Wilder rematch. AJ is most money Ruiz can make - PBC probably can’t match it but they can promise him in the ballpark and many more high profile fights after. Loyalty. What’s the legalese on the contract? Is it about belts or that Ruiz cannot make a living boxing unless he fights AJ? Lewis had to sue Rahman/King to force the immediate rematch

I hope the Ruiz-AJ fight happens December. I don't care where it happens, I just wanna see them fight again. .
If you are a promoter and you have a choice between one fighter holding belts, or the belts divided among fighters what is your preference? If Joshua holds the belts then you have strong opponent and one opportunity to fight for those belts. If on the other hand Usk and Whyte have a belt, you now have multiple set ups to fight for a belt. I would think Haymon would prefer this situation because it allows more fights to be made with his guys.

Under those conditions it would make sense for him to let Ruiz lose the belts in court.

Understood. Actually didn't look at it that way. Ruiz should fight him on neutral grounds tho like Australia or some ish.
