Ruiz will not be the one on trial here but his rematch clause would. What the Hell does he have to be in court for? He can allow his attorneys to handle that. Unless he is subpoenaed and forced to testify. There is no reason for him to be in court while he fights. The only thing that can prevent Ruiz from fighting is a court injunction which would forbid him to fight but even then, he can challenge that ruling on an appeal.

What people fail you realize it that Haymon has been on this level a lot longer than Eddie. And Haymon has been a big fish in a big pond while Eddie has been a big fish in a small pond. This isn't Haymon's biggest fight while this is Eddie's. It's levels to this game. Arum & Haymon have been tearing Eddie a new ******* since he got to America

But Ruiz wouldn't fight Wilder if there was a legal battle. There would be an injunction, and he would fight no one. And he would make $0.

If I were AJ's team, I would throw Ruiz some extra M's, recognizing that there is a small chance (maybe 5%) that Ruiz acts irrationally and follows through on his threat.

You haven't a clue what you're talking about and Hearn could easily say forget it were taking the fight to the U.K now and Ruiz ship will sink real fast ,you'll see. Ha

Go get your facts right. He signed a contract for an immediate rematch which have been invoked. If the case goes to court, non of them will be able to fight until case is resolved.
The best Ruiz will do is to drop emh belts.

Of course he can appeal an injunction...but he wouldn't be able to fight until the appeal is succesful and the injunction is reversed...and the chances of that happening are slim to none...

I know you're against it but I really want a BRIEF court case here just to show the Wilder fanatics what is what and end in a U.K fight where the current one gets cancelled nowends up in in Cardiff ,really where Hearn should have put it anyway because he knows Haymon is going to play games either way.. Ha

So what makes it so? Who made you the judge? You don't have the power to block anyone from fighting.

Obviously you are not an attorney. So you don't what you are talking about. A court case does not prevent a litigant from earning a living or effect its livelihood.

Sure, they will not be able to fight, only if they don't have any fights scheduled. They only way you can stop a plaintiff or defendant from fighting is through a court injunction.

A permanent injunction would barr Ruiz from taking any other fights other then AJ at least with those belts , so again stop playing lawyer if you don't know the legalities here and as a Wilder fan should know to stay far away from things that take high IQ's ,why do you do it ? Im just being real here.
