Anybody who thinks Hearn will take this to court is a fool. He has no choice but to give Ruiz more money.

He's going to take Ruiz to court and miss out on a $100 mil fight (if these Saudi's are legit) over a couple million? Then the IBF & WBO strip Ruiz while it's held up in court. And AJ won't fight either while it's in court. So Eddie's biggest money maker is out also.

It's called leverage. The leverage is you pay me more or miss out on a $100 mil fight and sideline your biggest money maker in the process.

That is not entirely accurate. If Andy Ruiz decides to fight for the undisputed Heavyweight crown against Deontay Wilder then that will take precedence over any mandatory from the sanctioning bodies.

I believe that is what Al Haymon and the PBC is hedging their bets on by constantly delaying and postponing this rematch for as long as they can. Once the sanctioning bodies start calling in those mandatories; Then that's when Al comes in to make the Wilder vs Ruiz bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

The WBC and WBA are already on record saying they are down for it. Also, the WBO since it's organization is a spawn of the WBA is down for it too.

Oh for sure, AJ would also lose out...but so would Ruiz and Haymon. Haymon's a very smart businessman, and it's very obvious a lawsuit would be a terrible business decision. It's an empty threat. As others have said, no harm in making an empty threat -- maybe Ruiz could get a few more M's. But you'd be out your mind to think he'd get more than an extra couple million lmaoo.

Ruiz has a bigger fight than AJ. He has Wilder. What big fights are there for Joshua? Eddie's gonna have him fight Pulev for that IBF that's about to be stripped? Or Usyk for that WBO that's about to be stripped? Would it be smart to give up a $100 mil fight because a fighter wants an extra couple of million?

Wilder will be busy fighting Ortiz. In the meantime Ruiz will be stripped by WBO(or fight usyk another hearn fighter), and then forced by Arum to fight pulev or vacate.

Team Wilder reserves the right to postpone both Ortiz and Fury, once the Ruiz bout becomes available. He owes those two nothing anyway. It's always been a dream of Wilder's of becoming the Undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world anyhow.

The only thing that can prevent or stop Ruiz from fighting is a court injunction forbidding him to fight. Other than that he is free to fight whomever he so please; Especially if Al Haymon decides to challenge the legality of the rematch clause on appeal.
