GGG sends DAZN letter to enforce contract. Canelo lawyers up

Triple G only wants what was promised to him. It's nothing more or nothing less.
The only reason why he signed with DAZN in the first place was to challenge Saul Alvarez to a rubber match. That's why he took the deal.
It was for the promise of fools gold. So far DAZN has not delivered on their promise or agreement and now they find themselves in some legal hot water.Comment

Why sign with PBC when Canelo wants to make a real effort in becoming a true hall of famer and a Mexican legend. If he signed with PBC he would only be offered inferior fights. The Charlos would not fight him because they fear losing. The evidence is there with all of PBC's fighters. Only Shawn Porter and Keith Thurman have fought good competition, unfortunately they have been spread out over 5 years.Comment

Maybe I'm a nerd, but I think the sensible thing, for a company said to have as much money behind it as folks here say, willing to spend the money to make it work, would've been to simply hype up every 154/160 fighter with them in anticipation of a Canelo fight, and take the fights as they come.
Demetrius Andrade is there; he's odd, but at least he's open to trying things out. Why not make the run up to his fight a big deal that Canelo will be watching?
Munguia is a really big 154lber who's coming into form, is Mexican, and has already had Golovkin choose not to fight him (it's a **** story, but whatever). Why not give him some attention in the anticipation of a Mexican vs Mexican scrap?
It's smoke and mirrors until it's not, but you've literally got 4 years of the prime Alvarez to work with here.
Instead, DAZN is moving as if they expected this whole thing to pay off with the first year, lolComment

Because the exact fights were laid out and in order in the contract. If they didn't deliver Joshua the contract wouldn't be valid, they'd have no rights to Wilder. We don't know how the Golovkin contract is laid out. If it says 6 fights and 1 will be Canelo then Golovkin will be tied up until at least the 5th fight.
It was literally fight whomever, fight Joshua, fight whomever you want again, and then fight Joshua again if that's a fight that Joshua wanted.
