Mosley's best fight was vs Oscar 1
Gatti's best fight was not Leija (who retired immediately afterwards)

No need to exaggerate when trying to make a point

Im a pacman fan but the guy with the comment about pac/marg has a good point. And I dont know why the Santos fight was mentioned but that fight was bogusly stopped when Santos seemed confused and couldnt find his corner at the end of the round.

        good on ya

the cheato win was rubbish, that was JMW title fight against a mid-level welterweight bum who just got KTFO by old man Mosley..... at catchweight..... for a vacant title..... using 8oz gloves

No exaggeration clearly you just have a sensitivity to the topic. So much so, you took a tour of boxing Rec. Didn’t work!! Your answers are all *****.

So you know Mayweather was going to fight the winner of Judah vs Baldomir right. That was supposed to be Judah but he lost taking the fight too lightly.

Not only did Floyd fight Judah he fought Juda’s slayer Baldomir right after it to make sure critics had nothing to say.
So he fought the winner and the loser. Then he destroyed Gatti May he Rest In Peace.

You talk about Corley like he was coming off a knock out loss. He had just put up a good effort against Zab Judah.

Again...The fight was designed to hype the matchup (Jab vs Floyd) by having them match up against common opponents.

Btw- Since we are talking about opponent selection... You realize Mayweather wasn’t even calling the shots at that time right. Matchmaking for pretty boy was courtesy of Top Rank.

Even worst you bring up Mosely? Mosely was coming off the second biggest win of his entire career. He had just knocked out the same Margarito that stopped Cotto. Bricks or not, this was Mosely’s swan song. You don’t believe his confidence was running high?

You sound like a desperate hater. Even if the Delahoya win was bigger? Please explain how Floyd took advantage fighting Mosely after Margarito? That don’t even make sense.

But here is the better question, who did Floyd duck and what was the better fight he missed?

The planet where he could make lightweight tomorrow. He's fighting bigger guys every single time he fights for the last 9 years.

            Good on me!!

The margarito fight was certainly not rubbish. He's gone on record as saying it was one of his toughest fights. He was nearly folded with a body shot.
The title was rubbish but the match-up certainly wasn't. Pacquiao was giving up 17lbs on fight night. It's a little disingenuous to call margarito a "welterweight bum", no? C'mon now. He was one of the top welterweights of the 2000's

Okay now we are talking, this is a good list. Acelino and Tszyu are big misses. Must see TV. Not ducks tho I remember Young Floyd calling them both out.

I was a fan of Casamayor but I kind of get why the fight wasn’t made with the Cuban. Went to the second Corrales fight and like Lara when he wanted to he could put the audience to sleep.

Would add Tim Bradley to the mix. Always wanted to see him and Floyd but the clamor for Pac vs Floyd hid this gem in plain sight. Tim’s work rate, may have given us a different look at more conservative Floyd.
