Canelo needs to be his own boss. Too many chiefs running his life.

1st when Canelo didn't want to be forced into a fight with GGG at the tail end of his prime, Canelo claimed he didn't fight for belts or whatever..

Now he acts like he's all butthurt because the IBF stripped him of their low tier title.

I like Canelo but he can't have it both ways and expect to be taken serious....

Canelo had already agreed to take 5M less than the 35M per fight deal he signed. So did DAZN just give GBP a 35-36M budget for this fight or something?
Well I mean who do you think gots more money to offer Derevyanchenko? GBP with the $365M for Canelo + $90M for GBP or GGG who's got $100M for himself + maybe $10M or something for his shows? I mean these deals are all with DAZN so I'd assume they all got the same resources so I think its just GBP who's lowballing Derevyanchenko. Maybe they are insuring Canelo gets paid, maybe they are insuring they get paid, but it definitely seems to me like GBP would have access to more money to pay Derevyanchenko...if they wanted to.

Agreed, Canelo doesn't need GBP or anyone at this point. Still needs a solid management team but can operate off his own name and promotion. Everyone has to come to him anyways so he can continue fighting on DAZN and operate as a one man band.
Who's his manager(s) now? The father + son trainers? If so yea he might to hire a guy to do some fancier sh^t, but it shouldn't be a problem. F#ck hire Al Haymon.

GBP not telling Canelo they were promising DAZN the trilogy is flat out INSANE and FOUL. Can't blame Canelo for being ticked off here.
LOL yea for f#cking sure. I'm honestly hoping this is bs its such a dumbass thing.

And here I been wishing DAZN would give GBP more money & let them be the lead DAZN promoter. Sh^t they gonna have to hook up GGG & Tommy lmfao. Eddie over here fumbling all day with his US shows & Oscar doing insanely wrong sh^t to the biggest draw in the game who's stuck with him through fishnets & kitchen utensils when I woulda been gone on principle over that kind of weirdo sh^t.

Wonder if Oscar is drinking or coked up again? Like seriously. These aren't the mistakes a person of sound mind is making.

And I wonder if Diaz is legit in the know here to or if this is news to him or was news to him at an earlier date, but not when the DAZN deal got signed?

I think Canelo is his own boss and is making this seem like it is everybody's fault but his. I really don't believe that he was unaware of the IBF's position. On one hand he says he wants all the belts, on the other he drops them when they don't suit him.

I find it hard to believe Canelo was in the dark about everything going on. Guy thinks he's bigger than boxing and the IBF doesn't subscribe to that.

to add to that clenelo recently saying his goal is to become undisputed champ at 160lbs and then ignoring his mandatory in charlo which leads to the wbc stripping him. he's a joke one week he says one thing the next he contradicts himself!
