When you say GBP lowballed Derevyanchenko, was it them or DAZN? Because like I said in another thread, GBP really can't bet on getting a certain amount of PPV buys and are operating off the budget DAZN gives them. Canelo had already agreed to take 5M less than the 35M per fight deal he signed. So did DAZN just give GBP a 35-36M budget for this fight or something?

Well I mean who do you think gots more money to offer Derevyanchenko? GBP with the $365M for Canelo + $90M for GBP or GGG who's got $100M for himself + maybe $10M or something for his shows? I mean these deals are all with DAZN so I'd assume they all got the same resources so I think its just GBP who's lowballing Derevyanchenko. Maybe they are insuring Canelo gets paid, maybe they are insuring they get paid, but it definitely seems to me like GBP would have access to more money to pay Derevyanchenko...if they wanted to.

Agreed, Canelo doesn't need GBP or anyone at this point. Still needs a solid management team but can operate off his own name and promotion. Everyone has to come to him anyways so he can continue fighting on DAZN and operate as a one man band.

I think Canelo is his own boss and is making this seem like it is everybody's fault but his. I really don't believe that he was unaware of the IBF's position. On one hand he says he wants all the belts, on the other he drops them when they don't suit him.

Don't need those joke belts, I mean they gave one Charlo a Haymon clown who never even beat a legit top 10 MW. to add to that clenelo recently saying his goal is to become undisputed champ at 160lbs and then ignoring his mandatory in charlo which leads to the wbc stripping him. he's a joke one week he says one thing the next he contradicts himself!
