Usually promoters or managers will sign fighters telling them they will be in line to get a shot at fighter X or something...But for DAZN and GBP to have this in writing without telling Canelo takes it to another level.

As for DAZN, they wouldn't have known that GBP didn't tell Canelo about this agreement to put on the GGG trilogy in September. I'm sure when DLH signed this agreement, DAZN was under the impression that Canelo gave them the green light.

Yea, didnt mean DAZN had any culpability in not telling Canelo , but means that Canelo (basically their only subscription driver) might continue to sit out and/or make finalizing fights harder with this GBP drama. Plus looks even less likely DAZN gets the trilogy they desperately wanted.

Yup. He publicly made Gomez looked like an ass right before then GGG rematch. Gomez came out saying Canelo only needed cosmetic surgery on his knee, Canelo made it a point to correct him publicly on his Instagram.

Was willing to move up to 175 just to not give GGG the trilogy and when that fell through wanted a way out. Now the IBF flexes their muscle and strips him. Good riddance.
