The best heavyweight of the 70’s vs the best of the 90’ would be 50/50 with Ali vs Lewis ...bowe would beat most 70’ heavy and Holyfield would be a night mare for Frazier ......Tyson already destroyed Holmes before.
Prime for prime it’s a toss up
Bro did u just say that Ali vs Lewis would be a 50 50 fight? Whoooohahaha!!!! The only thing that Lewis has is size in that fight. Lewis was stiff compared to Ali. Ali would twist Lewis feet into a knot with his footwork and unleash hell on him embarrassing him. Lewis had absolutely nothing for a prime ali nothing.......

Right now you guys are just basing your opinions on recent memory because the 1990s wasn't that long ago. What you guys really need to do is go back and watch some 1960s and 1970s boxing video footage of those decades.

Muhammad Ali lost 3 of his 5 fights in the 1970s and he is regarded as the greatest Heavyweight of all time. Moreover, the pool was a lot deeper in the 1970s than it was in 1990s. Their were more top Heavyweight fighters in the 1970s than it was in 1990s.

I disagree, Tyson could have beaten Lewis before he got with Manny but he would have never beat Holyfield in my opinion. I remember watching Holyfield when he moved to HW and thought this guy will beat Tyson pillar to post.

The way I see it there was more quality at the top three or four in the seventies and the 90s were deeper. Its all in the eye of the beholder though I reckon.

The only drawback that the 1990s Heavyweights had is that they didn't always fight each other. There was a lot of ducking and cherrypicking going on in that decade. The best didn't always fight the best. On the other hand, the 1970s were the complete opposite.

In order to get the biggest payday and the title shots, the best always had to fight the best. The very same cannot be said about the 1990s because it was just too much boxing politics going on which was why we never got to see Rid**** Bowe vs Lennox Lewis.

                I agree with that.

                      Frazier is too small

Ali and foreman would've beat almost everyone

                      Holmes too

                      But that's just 3 guys
