Who do your agree with, Lou or Tevin?

I can see it both ways. Tevin is worried about his health. But Lou is also correct, excitement sells tickets and brings fans

Farmer doesn't have much for power so I'm not sure what he could do to be more exciting

I always laugh at guys like Farmer who feel disrespected and want big money but refuse to take even the slightest bit of risk.

I agree with Tevin. Farmer knows his limitations better than anyone. Just like any other athlete he knows that he doesn't have the same ability as a Gervonta Davis. He doesn't possess that kind of speed or punching power.

I agree with Farmer but at the same time a fighter like Farmer can't be complaining about not being respected and not getting the million dollar paydays... Not every fighter can be Mayweather.
I remember Mickey Bey turning down fights with Mayweather promotions cause he wanted more money... Fighters with his style can't be doing that cause they just aren't attracting fans so it works both ways. .

My problem with this is nobody ever tells the fighter who is being dominated to do more.

You're clearly losing the fight why aren't you taking the risks necessary for you to win. But they're content with getting a moral victory of going the distance & the fans give them a pass. Why?

Farmer can't control his hand problems & lack of power but what he can control is his skillset.

You got a dude who has his hands up in a high guard. Just getting punched, at Tevin's discretion. Ya'll should tell him walk in with his hands down too so Tevin can look more impressive. Also Tevin can actually fight in a more "boring" way. If you actually pay attention he stays inside & mixes it up way more than he should or has to. Then when he does they say he's getting hit too much.

Don't discredit a man's talent cause he can hit & not be hit. A boxer shouldn't have to be one style. Everybody can't be Tyson, some people have to be sweet pea. I appreciate various styles that find a way to win. I like different styles for different reasons. I thought boxing was the sweet science? They not gon appreciate him until he gone. They didn’t appreciate Ward, they called Floyd boring who they not gon appreciate Floyd until he dies. Ali was hated from what I understand then they switched up when he was close to his death.

People that are mainly just big punchers I appreciate them. But if they're so great they should be able to do that to every fighter they face. Not just over matched tailor made opponents.

Look at all most of your favorite exciting fighters. Broke ass niccas who can barely speak that nobody gives af about after their career is over.

To be fair, the risk is getting in the ring at all. He may have to stand his ground in spots a little more if he wants the money he desires. He has a decision to make.

This is the sport you chose, if you don’t want to take the risks, dont cry when no one pays to watch you.

Dude can't be a fighter he ain't... I'm not saying Tevin couldn't be more aggressive, look for the finish more if he tried, but if nothing's gonna find you out quicker than fighting in a manner that doesn't suit your temperament or disposition. He might get away with it for awhile against lower level guys, but regardless of what some folk seem to think on here every single fight is a risk, really ain't as much room as some folk would think for messing with a style that's taken you a lifetime to develop.

Course though, much harder to make a breakthrough in popularity if you ain't delivering the highlight reels, so Lou's right too.
