If you want excitement then why the f#ck you signing Farmer for? He ain't that guy. He's a slick boxer type.

He does need to talk more sh^t to excite fans into wanting to see him lose. Thats the way you do it. Farmer trying to be too likeable. Dude can't be a fighter he ain't... I'm not saying Tevin couldn't be more aggressive, look for the finish more if he tried, but if nothing's gonna find you out quicker than fighting in a manner that doesn't suit your temperament or disposition. He might get away with it for awhile against lower level guys, but regardless of what some folk seem to think on here every single fight is a risk, really ain't as much room as some folk would think for messing with a style that's taken you a lifetime to develop.

Course though, much harder to make a breakthrough in popularity if you ain't delivering the highlight reels, so Lou's right too.

I don't think Lou is right at all. Lou bought a Pinto. Farmer is staying a Pinto. You can't turn a Pinto in a Lambo. You can't even turn a Pinto into a muscle car. Farmer is dancing with the girl he brought to the party. Lou's acting like dude is suppose to transform his Pinto into some new flashier car.

Thats not how things work, thats not how things should work.

But he don't need that. He just need to be the bad guy & he can fight MORE boring & careful if he wants to. He needs to get fans emotional & mad & wanna see him lose. He'll be making more money than too. Its a win all away around.

Good boxers are never exciting to a casual fan if they can’t punch. That’s how it’s always been.

If you were trying to get a friend interested in boxing, you would avoid showing them fights from some of the best fighters ever because you know they’ll fall asleep and never want to watch boxing again.

Farmer just needs to keep winning and collecting titles and not worry about anything else.

I'm with Farmer. I'm not a fan but his style is why he wins fights. If he changes that up he may well go on to lose winnable fights. Just do what you've got to do to win.

I get what Lou is saying, excitement brings more viewers. But fighters can't be what they're not.
I guess an option could be to be loud outside the ring, people seem to like that. Again though, if it's not how you are.
