Tracy Patterson was a solid fighter. And I gave Gatti credit for his legitimate title ten years ago. But beating an aging Tracy Patterson and Micky Ward doesn't get you HOF status. If you want to boost gatti's status, tell us who the BEST fighters are that he beat.

Gatti was in 3 fights of the year, 2 with ward and 1 with patterson, provided hours of entertainment for every boxing fan, he fought anybody and everybody and lost to mayweather and de la hoya who are THE two guys out there right now,and could pack the boardwalk with just the mention of his name.he's always gonna be remembered even if he doesn't get into the hall of fame, and to all the people callin him a bum, hes done more in his life than you ever will.

That and he didnt start to lose untill he want up in weight.
