In truth i have no prob with the ppl being in or out, and the same goes with Gatti if he gets in great if not no big deal.
Gene Fullmer beat Carmen Basilio, Webb, and Paret. He was extremely competitive against the top level competition in his era.

I already stated that Gatti was NOT a bum.

IMO, Gatti was a B minus fighter.
ok, why did you say no one was hating on Gatti? calling him a BUM when he def. is not is hating.

Hell, Zab Judah fought Kostya Tszyu, Floyd Mayweather and Cory spinks. And I don't want Judah in the Hall unless he has a squeegee in his hand. And those windows better be sparkling.

Nobody is "hating" on AG. Just call it as we see it.
        um, read that..

Again, Ken Norton did NOT get in over ONE WIN. He got in for a DECADE of competitiveness with the BEST fighters. THREE fights with Ali. A fight with Holmes.

Arturo was never competitive with the best fighters in his era. Arturo never won a round or made it out of the middle rounds when he stepped up his competition.

Some guys are acting like the STYLE of a fighter is the most important thing. WTF? Is this figure skating?

Ken Norton did MUCH more than Gatti. Much. That is a fact.

Gatti held more then 1 title and WONTHE TITLE THAT HE HELD. He beat Tracy Patterson who was a good fighter. If he would have had 10 fights with Ward like they did in the old days everyone would have been in love with him. oh well i really don't care i'm not even that big of a fan of him anyways .

Gatti was in 3 fights of the year, 2 with ward and 1 with patterson, provided hours of entertainment for every boxing fan, he fought anybody and everybody and lost to mayweather and de la hoya who are THE two guys out there right now,and could pack the boardwalk with just the mention of his name.he's always gonna be remembered even if he doesn't get into the hall of fame, and to all the people callin him a bum, hes done more in his life than you ever will.
