Besides imagine if Floyd didnt fight Canelo, do you really believe people would say, "Hey its good Floyd didnt fight Canelo before he retired because he was too green."

BS. Every ******* on this site would hate on him for that.
Floyd is damned if he does damned if he doesn't. That is what happens when you are the GOAT

The last I checked they had no rehydration clause for that bout. Which means that Canelo Alvarez had more than 24 hours to rehydrate going into that bout feeling very strong and healthy.

Get over it. Floyd got a W over the future undisputed middleweight champion of the world.

That's why catchweights for titles often end in a controversy. If a fighter wants a title above or below his weight class he should be prepared to fight under the rules. Having said that Canelo gaining two pounds would not have helped him because he was completely outclassed. Yeah if he was competitive but ran out of gas in the later rounds there is an arguement there. That's not what happened.

A W over the possible next Fighter of the Decade.

Which means Floyd beat 2 Fighter of Decades.

Floyd took him to school. Plain and simple. Canelo very nearly got shut out in that fight.

Just let it go. It doesn't take away from anything Canelo accomplished before or after that.
We will never know if Canelo would have done better with two more pounds. Probably not but Mayweather could have just fought him at the standard 154 and then there would be no doubt. Mayweather trashed Pac for catchweights and then makes Canelo come in at 152 or no fight. It was still a good win but the catchweight took some of the shine off of it.

For once I finally see you say something that makes sense. About time.

The haters will do anything to discredit FM including telling lies. Knowing well that Floyd didn’t ask for anything. He jus took Canelo up on his begging offer. Canelo begged for the fight and at 152. His team also said it would be to his advantage and make him faster
