Both are good wins, but against compromised talent. Canelo was green and weight drained; Thurman was damaged goods after his long inactivity.

But Pac got the knockdown and a dramatically effective body shot, whereas Mayweather never had those moments against Canelo.
FWIW.... Canelo was 23. People in here acting like he was 19 or 20.

Fights in YouTube, Canelo didn't even make the weight.

And what does not making weight have to do with mathew hatton taking a beating for most of that fight? Truth is canelos fights have been filled with catch weights or some form of weight restrictions in his favor. Which is the number one reason I didn't b about the mayweather thing canelos fights was always filled with weight restrictions. But what does that have to do with mathew Hatton taking a pounding for 12 rounds? Go re watch the fight. Did u really say canelo struggled against mathew hatton who he put a beating to? 🤣🤣😭🤣

Both good wins, Floyd might have beaten a little bit of a green version of Canelo but by no stretch of the imagination do I believe Canelo could touch Floyd... not even now, if Floyd came out of retirement and threw that diva a bone, Canelo would come running and he would get schooled again.

Thurman would have easily ko that weight drained canelo, I'm surprised that floyd couldn't even hurt a weight drained canelo who is just a walking punching bag.

They signed a contract, Canelo broke it

152 drained Canelo is a better win than a prime Thurman at 147 for Pacquiao.

Because some people never moved on from 2009. Despite the fight already happening 4 years ago, both sides still seem to have a deep resentment for each other. These discussions will go on far after both retire, because deep down we all know that what we got was little more than an empty shell of what the fight could have been in 09-10. This is why every time I hear the word marination in boxing,I get sick to my damn stomach.

Canelo weighed 153.5 vs trout. 1.5 pounds didn’t drain him

40 years old, dropped him and beat him up.

Floyd fought a green Canelo at a CW, caught him at the right time.
I tend to agree. I'd forgotten last night's bout was another Floyd vs. Ping Ping bout, but what people have to remember is that Canelo hadn't had any of his "special meat" before the Floyd bout, and had only paid off one judge.

I also laugh at people talking about "domination"... ISTR they only threw about 3 punches a round between the two of them.
