Like I said you have to separate what both guys are saying and even further what both guys are reporting. Pugmire has little credibility reporting and even less speculating on a podcast. Coppinger is a different animal and if he is reporting something it has weight and he flat out says I'm NOT reporting rambling that Pugmire is saying.

And why the hell would Coppinger go off of what Pugmire told him? No, that's not how it works. Coppinger may have been told by the same source, that certainly is possible. But he wouldn't just say that number because Pugmire said it. You're getting all worked up about this, but you can just easily contact him and word the question how you want to and see what he says. You're going to believe what you want to believe at this point, and that is perfectly fine. But to act like what Coppinger said is not to be taken serious because it was written in an Q&A is hilarious. Plenty of the top writers for The Athletic write these Q&As. Are you familiar with Jay Glazer? Is what he writes in the Q&As not to be taken serious as well?

Make it easier for yourself, get to the reporter directly and get your answer. Not that hard.

Why would Coppinger report how many subscribers DAZN has anyways? Did he write an article about DAZN's subscribers or anything? You think he is reporting weekly how many subscribers ESPN+ has? He was simply asked a question and answered it. You wanted him to write an article saying DAZN has 667k subscribers? Him answering questions in that Q&A is no different than him responding to a tweet. It's the same damn thing. It's not his fault or anyone else's fault that a certain person doesn't subscribe to The Athletic. The baseball show has been a major flop. Joshua was part of the Canelo package. So GGG & Bellator doubled DAZN'S subs. That would mean GGG is as big a star as Canelo in order for these numbers to be true. But bigdunny will deny that whole simultaneously trying to claim the number is doubled during GGG's fight month

I believe John Skipper CEO of DAZN who said they were close to 1M and planned to pass 1M subscribers by June. And I believe Bloomberg reporting that says in July they are at about 1.2M subscribers.

LIS, Coppinger could very well be wrong along with Pugmire in their numbers after Canelo-Jacobs......But did I just hear you say that DAZN had almost a million subscribers BEFORE Canelo-Jacobs??????
