And Coppinger hasn't said Bloomberg numbers are not true or said anything about how many subscribers DAZN has not today and I have seen him report on them having 700K subscribers after Canelo? Where is a link of him saying that too?
I was told in an email that the 1.2M number was not true. And you can believe who you want, never said otherwise. Just telling you what I was told. Maybe someone can ask Coppinger in his chat Q&A about that 1.2M number.

As for never hearing Coppinger say that after the Canelo fight? Go to his June 11 Q&A on The Athletic:

I don’t have the current number, but had heard around 667K following Canelo-Jacobs. I’m sure they’ll easily hit a million when Canelo-GGG 3 comes around. Retention is key, though
That actually goes hand in hand with what Pugmire said after the Canelo/Jacobs fight.

Going from around 700k after the May Canelo fight to 1.2M in early July would be one hell of an accomplishment.......

I think DAZN underestimated just how ****in weird and so overly patriotic some Americans seem tohave become which turns them resistant and abusive to foreign things like it is some invasion that is to be repelled and sent packing.

So provide the email and who it's from? So Coppinger never reported at the time of the Canelo/Jacobs fight back in May how many subscribers DAZN had but in a Q&A blog now that he works for The Athletic WITH Lance Pugmire who also works there and he's saying I heard and just repeats the same false number that Pugmire said. Hmm I wonder who is the one who heard it from lol And Mike hasn't reported that number in any tweets or articles said it in a damn blog conversation just repeating what his new co-worker Lance Pugmire said?

If Pugmire is your source it's BS. Sorry I'll take the word of Bloomberg reporting.

Once again, never said you can't take Bloomberg's reporting. If you believe it, no problem.

LOL, now you think Coppinger is only reporting that number because he works alongside Pugmire? Why won't you just tweet him or email him yourself and ask how many subscribers DAZN has and if the 1.2M number is accurate or not. I mean you're not taking his word from the Q&A, so ask him personally.

Better yet, you probably have The Athletic I'm guessing if you listened to the podcast? If so, then go find the chat yourself and read what he said.

But a lot of what you are saying is Pugmire who says flat out at one point we are not reporting this there is rumors and is just him speculating.
And Copp is co-signing. Like the part about Canelo not being happy with Golden Boy. Copp cosigns that info. Many times in the convo Lance says "we" meaning him & Copp.

Is he really reporting it? LMAO Sounds like he repeating something his new co-worker Pugmire said and didn't even have the nerve to actually report it in his own articles or tweets. If he believed so strongly in this why is it only mentioned a month and half later in a Q&A blog now that he works for The Athletic? Just like you can say something in a podcast shooting the shyt but different when you officially report it in your own articles and tweets. The writer from Bloomberg who actually reported numbers in a top article he wrote about DAZN? Or Coppinger who nobody knew said this because he never actually reported it and said it in some obscure Q&A blog and obviously heard it from Pugmire who like I said from the top is not credible which is why nobody took it serious when he said back in May.

That would mean GGG doubled their numbers. If that were true DAZN would've announced they reached their goal. They admitted they only release the good numbers.

Okay, so Coppinger is not credible now? Cool, just a few minutes ago Pugmire was not credible but Coppinger was...And now Coppinger isn't credible as well.

Coppinger was asked PERSONALLY about it and that's when he answered 667k. In fact, since it seems like you don't have subscription to The Athletic, here is what he was asked:

                  Kurt E.
                  Jun 11, 7:18pm
John Skipper was quoted by Lance Pugmire in the LA Times in May stating DAZN hoped to be at 1M subscribers in the US post-GGG vs. Rolls. Have you heard anything regarding the number of subs that DAZN currently has in the US?
And why the hell would Coppinger go off of what Pugmire told him? No, that's not how it works. Coppinger may have been told by the same source, that certainly is possible. But he wouldn't just say that number because Pugmire said it. You're getting all worked up about this, but you can just easily contact him and word the question how you want to and see what he says. You're going to believe what you want to believe at this point, and that is perfectly fine. But to act like what Coppinger said is not to be taken serious because it was written in an Q&A is hilarious. Plenty of the top writers for The Athletic write these Q&As. Are you familiar with Jay Glazer? Is what he writes in the Q&As not to be taken serious as well?

Make it easier for yourself, get to the reporter directly and get your answer. Not that hard.

I mean after the Canelo fight, only two cards have taken place with fighters of any drawing power. One was GGG, and the other was Joshua who made his US prime time debut. Unbelievable accomplishment if they were able to increase almost 600k subscribers with those two cards, plus the MLB show they have and Bellator.

Would be one of the biggest accomplishments out there if you really think about it. Good stuff!

The baseball show has been a major flop. Joshua was part of the Canelo package. So GGG & Bellator doubled DAZN'S subs. That would mean GGG is as big a star as Canelo in order for these numbers to be true. But bigdunny will deny that whole simultaneously trying to claim the number is doubled during GGG's fight month
