Of course against the right fighter is the key phrase. Canelo has eclipsed 1 mil with 3 diff fighters. One was a superstar. The other had never fought on PPV. And the other fighter had never eclipsed more than 300k PPV's in two fights combined.

And you need to stop thinking about Canelo being a bigger PPV draw than GGG. That's irrelevant in the present context. What's relevant now is how many subscribers DAZN think they will attract against each other.

This is a ****** statement because they're fighting on an app which requires people to pay to view it. And once again Canelo is the one people are paying for. They haven't paid to see GGG.

Canelo needs to play ball for the people who pay his checks. Playing semantics at that level is just gonna piss the fans off. It's probably implied in his contract that DAZN have a hand in who he fights. And if it's not specifically spelled out, so what? They can very well just shelve him so that he never completes his contract and doesnt get paid. That also would piss off fans. Canelo is THAT dude, but little correction on Jr never being on PPV before the Canelo fight. He fought Martinez on PPV and IIRC, it did around 500k buys.

Good! I'm very happy to hear that canelo ain't considering 3G for another fight. 3G is revolving his whole career around one person & that's just boring. He needs quality fights against Andrade & charlo before he should even be considered for canelo. I'm tired of him fight poor opposition & expecting a big fight to follow.
