There interesting part about this usually fighters; after coming off a huge fight, will take a softer touch. In this case, Canelo is being forced into big fight after big fight after big fight. If anybody thinks that DAZN was just going to invest 365 million into a fighter without having something to say about it is crazy. They want to see a return (subscribers) on their investment.

Things can get even crazier because GGG has shares in the company so he is essentially Canelos boss. And Im pretty sure Skipper put clauses in the contract to cover himself and investors just in case things didnt oan out the way they wanted them too. And Oscar has no where to go. If they go to ESPN they HAVE TO do what Arum says because ESPN has given him that leverage. And Oscar is for damn sure not going to Showtime or Fox. Going to be interesting.

Triple g does NOT have shares in DAZN so WTF you talking about he's Canelo's boss????
And why wouldn't Oscar go to Showtime??
Showtime wanted to work out a deal with Golden Boy promotions before they went to DAZN so why wouldn't they work together??

GGG would of been much more comfortable with PBC. Since PBC expects and demands nothing from their fighters and PBC fighters are more than content fighting D level competition for years at a time. Yes, GGG would of fit right in.

The fact is that the president of Dazn knows that Canelo and Golovkin could possibly lose to one of Charlo, Saunders, Andrade and Smith, and therefore want them to fight each other before a possible defeat. Jacobs was a good win for Canelo but when last has he looked really good in a fight. He was not as risky as the others mentioned.

I agree. Canelo signed a contract and he is obligated to fulfill its terms. The only one ****ing around here is Oscar. If they dont fulfill those contractual obligations I can see oscar getting sued to smithereens.

Let's not pretend dazn has muscle like that. The only time they get subscribers is when Canelo fights. Those subs drop off the next month and aren't enough to pay his paycheck, but that's another argument. Point is, dazn NEEDS Canelo and Canelo can probably get a dea lb. That's where DAZN comes in! Canelo's given them Fielding and Jacobs! GGG gave them Rolls! That's not enough! If DAZN needs to apply pressure to anyone, it's GGG! At a minimum, they should make an offer to Derevyanchenko! GGG vs. Dervy will do well at MSG! Haymon gave them Ruiz, I'm sure he would allow Dervy a shot at GGG!

Good! I'm very happy to hear that canelo ain't considering 3G for another fight. 3G is revolving his whole career around one person & that's just boring. He needs quality fights against Andrade & charlo before he should even be considered for canelo. I'm tired of him fight poor opposition & expecting a big fight to follow. Dazn needs to sit down & give him a reality check
