There is too much in-house fighting and not enough cross promoting and co-broadcasting among the elite fighters, in the sport, which robs us boxing fans of the fights that we want to see. For example: Loma/Garcia, Spence/Crawford Charlo/Canelo and Davis/Farmer.

Corrupt sanctioning bodies. Too many titles and no set criteria on how they rank their fighters and decide mandatories. Some champions are allowed to choose their own challengers while others are not. Some have difficult mandatories while others get journeymen. Bad enough we have four major titles, but then WBC and WBA want to create super, regular, silver, and new belts for every fight to squeeze more revenue out of sanctioning fees and calling them title fights.

Everything except the weight classes, those are fine for now.

Need a governing body to fix, change and/or update some of the archaic rules and to do something about the corrupt judging.

Two belts per weight class so that there will still be unification fights.

          So Will,

Great idea for a thread. I think bad corrupt judging is the worse. it shows that Vegas and the promoters probably have their claws in the process of judging, and it shows that scholars, historians, etc have to take it upon themselves to not look at a decision, but the actual fight.

There are plenty of fighters who get robbed systematically by the judges. Some of these fighters are quite good. Men like Glen Johnson, the road warrior, was definitely on the end of corrupt decisions many times.

the judges have made it so, I won't bet in boxing... Its aggravating as hell.

Boxing fans suck for the most part. Every fighter is overrated/hasn’t fought anyone/is boring etc etc. You literally could beat the top fighters in 15 weight classes and will be told that you moved up to avoid someone. I think MMA fans are generally better in this regard

Fans. They don't really know and understand boxing, but want some specific fighters to win constantly, are happy to see mismatches ("Oh, it's a knockout!"), etc. And when there's demand, there will be supply.

Way too many belts and the greedy promotional companies.

There is not a clear champ in some weights and we are deprived of fights because some promoters or networks do not work with each other.

Too many services to pay to see the sport is another one.

Cherrypickers like GolovFraud who fight Rolls instead Andrade & bully welterweights like Vanes and don't box Derev, Saunders. At least rematch Jacobs

Too many boring fighters at the top of most divisions and far too many mismatches.
