If Ruiz beats him again that could be it for Joshua. If he doesn't come back strongly, at least he can say he was a world champion and made millions already in a short career.

It is not a Tyson-Douglas upset of that magnitude, more like the biggest upset in the heavyweight division since Lewis -Rahman I.

How do you think Miller feels knowing he didn’t need banned fat burners. Hell, he didn’t need anything lmfao

Possibly. Perhaps Ruiz will fight someone else before (Wilder?) for even more money...who knows. For sure he has a great contracting power.

He probably beats him in the rematch. I’ve taken down the AJ wallpaper in my bedroom. A absolute shocking performance that mentally when he takes the rematch and it gets difficult which it will he will become unstuck again.

I think it’s come to that time that as CEO of joshualite corporation I sell up quickly before it’s worth nothing
Lol, my bro sounded like he wanted to cry watching it. I can take a bad performance but it was like AJ forgot everything. Asking his trainer what shots hit him, what he hit Ruiz with, what will Ruiz do. He forgot basic boxing fundamentals it was so alarming.

In a rematch, he needs to learn to tie up, work on his jab and not exchange or trade unless he KNOWS Ruiz is hurt. He was so eager to get outta NYC that as soon as he dropped Pete Griffin he just abandoned boxing common sense and paid the price for it.

That’s part of the issue, discussing what Joshua needs to do for the rematch with my friends, we almost came to the conclusion that he needs to learn how to box 😂

Sounds silly for a world champ, but his fundamentals seemed to be so lacking and for such a big man he does not fight tall at all.

I suggested he needs to ask Wlad for some tips, learn how to fight behind a jab like he did post the Sanders KO!

Also, people talking about the rematch clause. Is it being held in the U.K. in the contract? Because if not I don’t see why Andy would go over there with the cards already stacked
If it ain't in the contract to fight in the UK, it will probably be like:
                      • Fight AJ in the UK for 60/40+
                      • Fight AJ anywhere else for 75/25 or 80/20 ish

Apparently Ruiz got £5 million for Saturday night, while AJ got £20-25 million, plus some kinda proceeds from the PPV revenue. So that is less than 80/20 and is only gonna get worse once the PPV money comes in.
