Assume that possibly the rematch clause / contract might have stated it?

Guess it depends who’s willing to pay and where the fight earns the most.

If I was Joshua, I’d want to go back to the States to avenge the loss. If it’s in the U.K. and even if Joshua wins, it leaves him with problems - he’ll be seen as a home fighter and still have that cracking USA monkey on his back.

Regardless of what AJ / Hearn say, I’m not convinced he’ll want the rematch straight away at all in all honesty.

Ruiz is in a great position, and that position will force Eddie to pay Ruiz a fortune. I wouldn't be surprised if he offers Ruiz more than AJ for the rematch.

Also, people talking about the rematch clause. Is it being held in the U.K. in the contract? Because if not I don’t see why Andy would go over there with the cards already stacked
For Triple what he made first time round. He was prepared to fight josh in the U.K. By the the time the fight comes around he will have several endorsements and having seen what he did to Joshua first time round he has nothing to fear. He probably beats him in the rematch. I’ve taken down the AJ wallpaper in my bedroom. A absolute shocking performance that mentally when he takes the rematch and it gets difficult which it will he will become unstuck again.

I think it’s come to that time that as CEO of joshualite corporation I sell up quickly before it’s worth nothing

Joshua is way more fragile mentally than I imagined. Ruiz will murder him in a rematch. The fight is over before it’s even signed IMO.

It really is a tough one for AJ to come back from. Absolutely shocking (and quite odd) performance in so many ways.

I actually find myself rooting for the guy to come back, otherwise this will really tarnish his reputation. I’m not sure we need another Price / Audley!!!

am I the only one thinking something could have gone wrong prior to this fight, apart from he's weak defensively he doesn't look like ready to fight from off, Aj has always got hit by opponent even by more heavy puncher than Andy but how he goes down easily just surprising to me honestly, he was gun shy completely in that match, cong**** to Andy.

It will be make or break for sure

Ruiz will be heavy favourite .... but that’s what proper champions do

The pressure is gonna be immense on Joshua but if he comes though it he’s back in the game

                    It’s a big if mind

Yeah he’s been hit, but not by flurries. The shot behind the temple that everyone has mentioned was the first in a combination that sent Joshua down. The second KD was an even bigger combo. The shots that Ruiz hurt Joshua with aren’t the ones that dropped him. Try getting hurt and then taking 7-8 clean shots to the head before you even put your hands up.
