Comments Thread For: Haye: Joshua Got Beat Up, He Looked Like He Didn't Want To Fight

Before the fight took place, former two division champion David Haye gave Andy Ruiz absolutely no chance of victory in the anticipated contest with unified champion Anthony Joshua. On Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz pulled off one of the biggest upset in boxing history when he dropped Joshua four times before the contest was waved off in the seventh round.

Haye just jealous of all AJ’s success doe

Also, people talking about the rematch clause. Is it being held in the U.K. in the contract? Because if not I don’t see why Andy would go over there with the cards already stacked

I disagree David Haye at one point was nearly as big in terms of following, only difference is? David Haye was not politically correct and for me 'Devalued the mainstream fans' Anthony Joshua care's too much about the casual fans, who 70% of them now will probably slate him 'David Haye was undisputed cruiser weight champion and world heavyweight champion' still only two men have achieve such a feat, other fighter being Evander Holyfield.

The Hayemaker to his credit, ended his career like a warrior he went until there was no more left 'Body breaking down' there is something beautiful/honorable about that.

These Super-heavyweights are being exposed, if Haye's body did not break down? I think he would of beat Anthony Joshua, ****s out Tyson Fury to, Wilder is the most dangerous.

Was being sarcastic. Whenever anyone mentioned any kind of ***** in Joshua’s armor prior to last night was accused of jealousy

Fury beats Haye though. It’s why Haye pulled out of their fight(s)

If you do not have power to make Haye weary, it is very bad news. 'David Haye was injured, that was why he pull out of the Tyson Fury fights' he had reconstructive surgery on his arm, and was told that he would not fight again.

It is a myth that he pulled out of the Fury fight to avoid him, another myth spouted by Fury 'Nobody is afraid of Fury in the heavyweight division'.

He looked like he wanted to fight til Ruiz touched him. He even tried to get back to that, but Ruiz started touching him again & Joshua didn't seem to know what to do, how to win.

It was that one two counter that rocked him after the Ruiz knockdown

Shook Joshua to the core .... head was gone the rest of the fight

Also, people talking about the rematch clause. Is it being held in the U.K. in the contract? Because if not I don’t see why Andy would go over there with the cards already stacked
This. Why UK? Joshua is no longer the champion. Unless matchroom pays so much to Andy to convince him. I would not go to uk if I were him.

... I'm sure Hearn stipulated that way... anyhow, there will be negotiations...
