But seriously, if AJ really is happy or relieved that he lost, something’s wrong and he maybe should retire. However, with that said, if he can bounce back and now know how to take a loss, he could end up better than before. But my concern is that perhaps his skills were not as well-rounded as we initially were led to believe. It’s not like he took a one-punch KO like Lennox did against Rahman. AJ got beat up and down the ring last night and was clearly concussed and out of it — seemingly more so than Breazeale after his one-punch KO loss — and that does not look good for AJ on so many different levels.
