under appreciated by most they just create false narratives instead of giving the credit

Check ESPN my guy. Or Yahoo Sports. Or watch Sportscenter. Everyone is covering this event. The biggest event of the year by far.

And the rematch will be twice as big.
Big event ... lol @ your wordplay. It's a big UPSET. Much bigger than the event itself. He came to conquer America and got .... CONQUERED. The former Olympic Champ. It's a BIG UPSET, not event. We draw 15,000 to college basketball games ... lol! With over 20 happening at the same moment.

Don’t worry, it’s only Eddie Hearns doing damage control. It’s not true, and if it is, then I think AJ should just retire because that would mean his heart isn’t in it.

I did too! Now I’m starting to think Ruiz could give Wilder a run for his money; maybe Fury as well but I’m less convinced his style would work against Fury. Either way, it’s a thrilling time to be a boxing fan.
            Thoughts?

Don’t take him seriously though. He’s spinning it to try to save face. I don’t think AJ is happy he lost or happy “the pressure is off his shoulders, etc”... if anything, he has more pressure now that he’s got a loss. Lose the rematch and his career is in tatters.
But seriously, if AJ really is happy or relieved that he lost, something’s wrong and he maybe should retire. However, with that said, if he can bounce back and now know how to take a loss, he could end up better than before. But my concern is that perhaps his skills were not as well-rounded as we initially were led to believe. It’s not like he took a one-punch KO like Lennox did against Rahman. AJ got beat up and down the ring last night and was clearly concussed and out of it — seemingly more so than Breazeale after his one-punch KO loss — and that does not look good for AJ on so many different levels.

I agree loud and clear. And that’s why Eddie’s attempt at damage control sounds like he’s scraping the bottom of the Apple barrel. This shows me that it’s clearly defcon one in Joshualand. Panic ensues among the British, the London stock market is falling... etc... etc... stay tuned...

But seriously, I’m having a hard time believing this is not some weird dream. I knew Joshua wasn’t invincible, but I am STUNNED that “most complete heavyweight” AJ got slapped up and down the ring by a short, overweight Mexican brawler. ANYTHING can happen now!

Interesting opinion; who do you think is the “strong masculine” culture right now then?

Relief for no longer being the best at what you do for a living.

If he's relieved after losing, he could just retire and be relieved for the rest of his life.
Agreed 100%. Laughable logic at best from Eddie Hearns and Joshua’s camp. I have a feeling they know better, though. They’re probably panicking behind closed doors. And I’m no troll or hater — I’d be pretty concerned too if my best fighter who was supposedly the best most complete heavyweight in years was humiliated like that, not by Fury or Wilder, but by a heavy brawler. Joshua’s best wish right now is for this not to be a fluke, but for Ruiz to go on and beat Wilder, Fury, and also Parker in a rematch. Thoughts?

I like Ruiz; I admit I question just how talented he is (doesn’t look that athletic) but he definitely has HEART and GUTS. Let’s see how far it takes him. And Viva 🇲🇽.
