I've seen Ruiz in the gyms for a while. Humble guy , nice guy .
People saw his physique and didn't realize he's actually a Good fighter with fast / heavy hands .
Much Congratulations to his Coach Manny Robles and team too .
Great win after a tough couple of year's for them .

I like Ruiz as a person from what I’ve heard; still not sold on his talent level or if this was just one of those rare things that happens. We’ll see how he does against Wilder and Fury before I decide how good he is. That said, they say overweight guys tend to be stronger, on average, then skinny or medium-built men. Maybe that’s what we saw tonight - those punches from the portly Ruiz definitely seemed to do more damage on Joshua than the ones from Greek Statue Wlad.

U dumb ***! Fury was almost dead in the 12rd. Fat p.o.s is a drug cheat an probably cheated to lose all that weight in a year.. He never hurt or dropped Wilder.. yo ****** azz gave Fury the round for making Wilder miss. Seriously, Fury won more rounds than Wilder, and SHOULD have won on the scorecards — even with the knockdowns. That said, after the second knockdown in the 12th round — and FAIR COUNT, I might add — most referees would have stopped it. I know I would have, if I had been in his shoes. So, Fury and Wilder (and their fans) shouldn’t complain. A draw saved both of them from what could have easily been a loss, depending how you look at it.

This is actually good for Joshua, fighters will be more willing to face him now maybe. I still sense that their asses will all go, when he regains his belts.

But I will admit? Wilder would of beaten him last night, Joshua looked as if he was fighting underwater 'No Jab also, terrible jab' It is as if he is knocking on the headmasters door at school.

His best performance for me technically was vs Povetkin, and his Jab looked to be improving there.

At least we all know that wilder/aj isn't close to being as huge as it once was. Wilder loses out on his huge payday. AJ goes down as a Frank bruno type heavyweight (not that there's anything wrong with that) and fury is still gon be fury.

Agreed. The only real winner in my opinion is Ruiz. He goes down in history as the first heavyweight champ of Mexico extraction. In addition, no one can take away from him one of the most stunning upsets in modern boxing history. IMO, Wilder, Fury, Miller, and of course Joshua are the losers here. Any “mega fight” after last night won’t be worth a quarter of the hype we’ve been getting about the “Big Three” all fighting each other.

No he can't get back to where he was. His fans invested 100% in the belief that this guy was this generation's HOF HW. He clearly was not. Every single contender out there will be salivating at the opportunity to fight him. They all know how easily he can be taken and that he will fold and quit if he is backed up. He might comeback and beat Ruiz somehow (I don't see it), but nobody will ever see him as the level of fighter that his most ardent fans thought he was before yesterday. Everybody says AJ's Frank Bruno Jr, but I really see him as Wlad 2.0. I'm not comparing their careers but rather their attributes; both physical and mental. Big as ****, overly muscle-bound, timid to exchange, soft chin. They both feel fine as long as they can have a nice, slow, civilized sparring match. Put them in a fight with a live-dog who doesn't show them any respect and its a different game. Last night had me flashing back to Wlad v Corrie Sanders. AJ does not have the temperament for this. Say what you will about Wilder, but he does have the right temperament. This isn't the Olympics. This is kill or be killed. There is no room for nice guys at the top in this game.

Personally, I'm hoping the rematch is in Vegas. All the Brits who came to NYC would reach Vegas, and it'd be more accessible for the Mexicans and Mexican Americans.
