Punching is almost similar to hitting a baseball in a key aspect! TECHNIQUE! You can be Big Papi, or you could be Ken Griifey Jr.! If your swing is second nature, and you're hand speed is great, and you're connecting with that sweet spot of the bat, you're going to be a problem! Ruiz knows how to throw hard and fast, and at a distance he's comfortable! HE CAN HIT!

If I hit you in the head, does it make a difference if I hit you with 260lbs. of bacon, or if I hit you with 260lbs. of Organic 90% Lean Grass-fed Ground beef? Ruiz has a great swing, and great torque, and he's 260! He's a problem!

You make good points! Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see Ruiz dominate the heavyweight division. I just mean I need to see him a bit more before I decide if he has the stamina and movement to beat a Wilder. We already know Joshua has engine issues, so all this fight told us is Ruiz hits harder than Joshua and can beat him in a shootout.
      Thoughts?

ajs fans bragging on fighting in front of 90k every post and how hes the best HW since ali is what messed up ajs mind... he knew he needed work before fighting wilder n fury but you all hyped him to destroy them with all those flaws... then you have hearn in the screen every day with that arrogant mess down talking wilder every chance he can get and lying about his numbers to gain advantage, talking down on pbc and haymon every day... all this was too much for him that's why he got a psychologist, you all ruined it for aj, the fanatics that is, not the genuine fans. every thread on here n on youtube was filled with disrespect and bragging n you all got humbled. there is a way to respectfully trash talk. next time you all should calm down.

measure of respect for handling it so well.
It's not a matter of him happily accepting defeat.
He reacted in respectful & dignified manner considering that he
was obviously embarrassed about losing to a large underdog in
his first fight away from home. Especially considering all the
talk about AJ-Wilder that has transpired recently.
He handled being embarrassed in front of a large crowd very well.
Most of human beings don't handle that well, so respect for that.

Anyone who's read my posts before knows that I'm not an AJ fan,
but there is no reason to kick a man while he's down.
The egg on people's face is obvious now, so there is no need to
say "I told you so". Hopefully the most deplorable posters like
Sindee, Coksfan, and Robbie will learn from this humbling experience.

For what it's worth, I could see that Joshua was not himself
as soon as he began walking to the ring. He looked slightly
bewildered and less confident than usual. Similar to the body
language that Lucian Bute displayed while walking to the ring
to fight Carl Froch. They looked comfortable and confident at
home, but they looked like a fish out of water as soon as they
          fought elsewhere.
I don't understand this he needs respect for being so humble after that defeat, what else in the hell was he supposed to be after that? hes always been humble. what hissy fit could he have thrown?

Wilder has more power than AJ, and a better chin! It would definitely come down to stamina! Wilder had power enough to drop Ortiz in the 10th, and Fury in the 12th! However, Ruiz has a better inside game! Would be nice to see, but Ruiz has got to get through Joshua first! I think Joshua will fight different, and put it in the hands of the judges, especially at home!
