ya man, i dont know about you, but when i want to watch boxing i want to watch an exciting fight, not a boring one, boxing would suck if it was boring to watch...and gatti is the most exciting

Just shows your ignorance. An exiting fight for someone who doesn't know about boxing is two guys beating the crap out of each other. Seasoned boxing viewers appreciate the finer points of the sport such as crafty defense and footwork. Which is why I would rather watch Hopkins, Winky or Floyd over Gatti anyday. Only someone who has no clue about boxing would rather watch Gatti.

beacuse he has faced only two and they only picked him because of his name and box office apeal you ****en ass clown. and he got handled in both fights that he was given almost no chance at winning. I thought he had a puchers chance against mayweather. Oscar however was the bigger stronger faster man. Oscar had been in the biggest non-heavyweight fight in history. He had fought Pernell, Chavez, Trinidad, Shane, Carr, etc. Oscar was DEFINITIVELY the biggest draw in the sport. For you to say that he needed Gatti is laughable.

I dont think thats why one gets put in the hall of fame in boxing. I think the fighter would have to be a great. Gatti clearly isnt.

Based purely on accomplishments and level of opposition, he's not even close. However, he'll most likely be inducted since the boxing HOF is pretty horrible; they let anyone in.
