Anyone that considering him a world champion at 154 should be legally banned from watching boxing imo

150 is not a weight class.
I never bought that 8th title holder BS

I'm consistent. I don't consider Floyd a 5 division champ because he didn't beat the top guy at 140.
This is a bigger question then just Pacquiao. He is technically an 8 division champ. If you think otherwise then that’s fine but then you have to say that no one is champion except the number one person in the division.

He's the lineal champ in 5 divisions, and a belt holder in 8. Both of which are more than any other fighter in boxing history.

He has.more belts in weights, be it 6,7 or 8 who Is counting than anyone in history. Step up to plate like he did rather than begrudge him.
Is Floyd really unbeaten you might as well ask.

Not every champion is the best/number one champion nowadays. i.e. If one beats Errol Spence or Shawn Porter for a welterweight championship that means technically you still beat a welterweight champ even though the best/number one welterweight champ is still Terrence Crawford or maybe to the minority, Keith Thurman who has the best resume of all the welterweights in the current generation. You beat a champ you become a champ.

If you want a more streamlined version of champions, you may opt for the people's champion like lineal champions. I think this is more inline with your idea of a champion. i.e. if the idea of Manny's 8 division championship is not your cup of tea you can then opt for Pacquiao's 5 lineal championships--So you strip him of the 3 other ones in your own personal list. Anyhow that's how I see it.

Is that really true when he's never beaten the top guy at lightweight, welterweight and light middleweight?

Type 8 division champion and you will see only one name and that's manny pacquiao.
