So, was there an announcement? I'm not reading through 7 pages of bickering to find out.

Wilder is a fraud who has been holding that belt hostage fighting bums. He also lost his last fight to a fat Fury
Joshua and Klitschko ducked Wilder. While Whyte refuses to get in line for his turn by rejecting Final eliminators, Povetkin popped dirty for doping, Pulev wants Joshua and Haye has had many health issues in the past and is now retired.

No boss, I haven't heard anything from Wilder yet. I hope it's pertaining to his boxing career and not some outside venture.

In any case, I am looking forward to this Saturday's WBC championship bout between himself and Dominic Breazeale.

AJ ducked Wilder? By offering him 120 million, 100 million, 15 and 12 million to fight him????? Yeah, you are too ****** to respond to again hahah. Oh and by the way, the "big announcement" that Wilder had, was he is selling Tee shirts of himself hahah. maybe his idiotic fans like yourself can buy some of them. Also, it was Finkel that refused to let Wilder fight Klitschko, look it up idiot.

However, Wlad's reply was that Deontay had to step up his level of opposition first to get that opportunity. Now to answer your question; The answer is no. Jennings was not a better known quantity at that stage than Deontay Wilder because Wilder was a WBC titleholder at the time while Jennings was just another one of Dr. Steel hammer's typical mandatory challengers.
But you said he asked for the fight 4 months prior to becoming WBC champ?

Also, where were all these offers from these top U.K. and European promoters for any of his services? There were none because Deontay was an unknown American Heavyweight fighter at the time.

He wasn't a Tyson, Foreman or Holyfield. He didn't start getting noticed until he started fighting on Showtime; Which was not long before his first title bout with Bermane Stiverne.
So the "deep pockets" of Golden Boy couldn't find him better opposition than Molina et al?

Couldn't have taken him to Europe if necessary?

I can't really disagree with what he's said here and given the lack of outcry it seems I'm in the majority. There's also the fact that his own manager, who was also involved with Wlad, went out of his way to kill the fight at birth.

I also struggle to understand why you'd chose to base your career in Tuscaloosa Alabama when you're a big punching heavyweight with an Olympic medal around your neck.

If you want to get paid, surely you'd heard to one of the more traditional fight hubs?

You know what I'll do one better! This clearly demonstrates that Klitschko wanted no smoke with Deontay Wilder.
