So, was there an announcement? I'm not reading through 7 pages of bickering to find out.

Joshua and Klitschko ducked Wilder. While Whyte refuses to get in line for his turn by rejecting Final eliminators, Povetkin popped dirty for doping, Pulev wants Joshua and Haye has had many health issues in the past and is now retired.Comment

In any case, I am looking forward to this Saturday's WBC championship bout between himself and Dominic Breazeale.Comment

AJ ducked Wilder? By offering him 120 million, 100 million, 15 and 12 million to fight him????? Yeah, you are too ****** to respond to again hahah. Oh and by the way, the "big announcement" that Wilder had, was he is selling Tee shirts of himself hahah. maybe his idiotic fans like yourself can buy some of them. Also, it was Finkel that refused to let Wilder fight Klitschko, look it up idiot.Comment

Wilder was just looking for an agreement in principle that Wlad would negotiate in good faith for an undisputed heavyweight championship title fight with him. Which was tentatively scheduled for sometime later in the near future. Whether it was for prior to Bryant Jennings or post Tyson Fury in which he lost. he only wanted the opportunity.
However, Wlad's reply was that Deontay had to step up his level of opposition first to get that opportunity. Now to answer your question; The answer is no. Jennings was not a better known quantity at that stage than Deontay Wilder because Wilder was a WBC titleholder at the time while Jennings was just another one of Dr. Steel hammer's typical mandatory challengers.Comment

No, he signed with Golden Boy after he became champion. Also, you say that he was a draw but no one knew who he was let alone knew that he could punch.
Also, where were all these offers from these top U.K. and European promoters for any of his services? There were none because Deontay was an unknown American Heavyweight fighter at the time.
He wasn't a Tyson, Foreman or Holyfield. He didn't start getting noticed until he started fighting on Showtime; Which was not long before his first title bout with Bermane Stiverne.
Couldn't have taken him to Europe if necessary?Comment

If you want to get paid, surely you'd heard to one of the more traditional fight hubs?Comment

You know what I'll do one better! This clearly demonstrates that Klitschko wanted no smoke with Deontay Wilder.
