Wilder's "big announcement" was that he is selling tee shirts in Vegas. Look it up. Pathetic. And you idiots were hoping he was going to sign a 3 fight deal. Y'all need to stop already...
Wilder announcement tomorrow: 3 fight Showtime deal?

No, you misunderstood. I said prior to Klitschko fighting Jennings. Actually it was three months because Wilder won his WBC championship in January of 2015; While Klitschko defended his mandatory against Jennings in April of 2015.Comment

He wasn't with Golden Boy at the time he fought Molina. He was with Golden boy only in association through his business partnership with Al Haymon who introduced him to Golden Boy promotions. Deontay Wilder was never a Golden Boy fighter. He was and has always been an Al Haymon fighter.Comment

I appreciate all my fans and supporters that have supported me thus far. I just want to make everyone aware of the merchandise I’ve personally created. IT'S FINALLY HERE !!! I’m very proud of what I’ve created. I am going to show it for the first time tonight at TAO NY. pic.twitter.com/H6IlaA4wkr

Wilder fans will still defend his duck though
And Wilder can't stop talking about Fury. He knows he lost and needs the rematch to save faceComment

I was thinking about the fight this weekend and even though I don't give a *** about the fight, Wilder is a lot of fun to watch. It's that combination of crazy power with a definite vulnerability. You know he could lose to any number of capable HWs, but that insane power... makes for a fun fight to watch, even if the opponent is meaningless.Comment

Thx, man. Green sent.

I am with you. I would much more prefer that Wilder would have fought Tyson Fury this weekend instead of Dominic Breazeale but it is what it is.
It's just a sad state of affairs how boxing politics are blocking and hurting both the fans and the sport by depriving us of the fights that we all want to see.
It seems that every platform and promotional outfit have their own separate set of agendas.
It's because the sport is no longer mainstream. It has a much smaller audience and demand as opposed to more than twenty years ago.
Therefore many platforms and promoters are very reluctant in working with one another because of the lack of demand for fights. The sport is no longer building stars anymore.
Yeah I agree with you about Deontay Wilder. He is the most exciting HW in the world today. He is unpredictable and has that equalizing game changing power and is very fun to watch.
I hope he wins on Saturday in order to set up the Luis Ortiz rematch.Comment

I have a very hard time believing they can get a $30M a fight deal equal to the DAZN deal ($120M for 4 fights including 2 Joshua fights) for Breazeale, Kownacki & Ortiz (as often get brought up as Wilder's next 3 opponents). Maybe if Fury is in there as a possible, but not definite, option that would boost it up to $30M per fight it seems less crazy while still a lil crazy lol.
But if they can get ~$30M a fight fair f#cking play to them & respect.
I suspect if it turns out this is true they'll keep the actual numbers & terms as vague as possible while saying its "similar to the DAZN deal" just for max PR value. Not saying it will be up to DAZN's deal or not, but I don't think you want the SM & boxing forum accountants waxing on exact figures all next week by giving them that much info.
Still, let's go down the rabbit hole; Wilder signs a long-term deal with Showtime/CBS that puts Showtime on the hook for a ton of money.
Wilder fights Breazeale and wins in style with no injury. What's to stop Showtime from calling Sky Sports to seal the deal and force Eddie to decide right there which paymaster he's serving?Comment
