Had Canelo winning 7-5 but just saying, if the judges had given Danny the seventh round (which I thought was his best round), then the fight would be ruled a majority draw. Judging can be a really weird thing sometimes...

Glen Feldman turned in the only reasonable card, but I still find it generous to Jacobs. I gave Jacobs 2 rounds and one even. Canelo was busier and more effective in every other round.

Most honest people had it 8-4. 7-5 if black prolly, but 6-6 would be atrocious

8-4 could even be 9-3. The judges shaded rounds to jacobs because of all his crying before the fight about judging. Canelo was just too smart, fast and slick to be outboxed by Jacobs. He made Jacobs miss and look bad swinging at the air. And when it was clear his game plan wasn't working he still refused to **** with Canelo because he didn't want to risk getting knocked out. Even for compubox nuts canelo literally slept every stat they keep and doubled Jacobs up in connect rate. lol

I thought both morreti and weisfeld had it spot on through 9 rounds, but then got the last three backwards.
I feel like judges mean regress in their scoring, instinctively realizing a closer card leads to less controversy. I wonder if they subconsciously leaned towards Jacobs at the end there once Canelo was safely ahead

Jacobs did a lot of that BS flurrying at the end of the rounds to try to steal them. A smart and experienced scorer of fights would have caught that.

116-112 looks ideal to me. Wouldn't even mind 117-111. Jacobs needs to stop crying and acting entitled and take more risks and let his hands go if he wants to win big fights.
