He may not throw hundreds of jabs, but the jabs he throws are very accurate and he lands them at a high %.
    Excellent analysis

Actually, Jacobs was much busier than Canelo, but his jab fu#kin ****** and he missed every time he threw it. Jacobs couldn’t put anything note worthy together aside from a few decent combinations towards the end of the fight.

I thought it was closer in the middle rounds. You can give Jacobs a few extra rounds in the middle, but the beginning and the end was all Canelo.

Okay, I change my statement to Canelo was busier every round - trying to actually hurt Jacobs. Jacobs being busier flicking the air, walking backwards or scratching his nuts is less impressive to me. I agree that Jacobs had his best moments in the late-middle rounds, but I still contend that the most generous of knowledgeable fans could not give Jacobs more than 3 rounds max.

I believe you. I hate to break it to you, however, but crack ******* is actually homeless man *******. If you made any real money, you'd be buying better quality HCL or heroin probably.

This is a great example of the inability to correctly score a fight. You say Canelo was busier, yet Jacob's out punched Canelo in every rounds, and total punches landed was only a few percentage points down. So you feel like Canelo was busier but that's not actually what happened.

And you are a perfect example of a newbie casual who scores fights based on Punchstats. You got that right that one of us clearly has no clue how to score a fight. Points are not awarded for flicking the air or shaking your ass in boxing. I'm amazed how many people truly think like you. "Oh, but my guy threw more or landed at a higher percentage!" WTF?!? Who ever told you that any of that s.h.i.t matters? Oh wait, I know, HBO and the Punchstat folks.

Here are the actual scoring criteria for professional boxing. Take note of the first one:
                  • Hard and Clean Punches – To the untrained eye, it can appear as if a boxer is landing a lot of shots, when, in fact, most are being blocked or aren’t landing flush. A judge needs to look for hard shots that land clean.
                  • Effective Aggression – Being aggressive gives the impression of dominance, but unless the boxer is landing shots and not constantly getting countered, it’s not exactly “effective.” Judges look for effective aggression, where the aggressor consistently lands his punches and avoids those from his opponent.
                  • Ring Generalship – The fighter who controls the action and enforces his will and style.
                  • Defense – How well is a boxer slipping, parrying, and blocking punches? Good defense is important.

Actually I wrote boxing for 3 different publications one of which is one of the biggest sports websites on the web. So I easily take you to school. But I be simple to help with your idiocy or maybe your hooked on phonics didnt work as well as you thought. First I didnt tell you how I scored the fight, second re-read my comment and realize the ******ity of your response which actually underlines my point. You felt Canelo was "busier" that's your words not mine. Watching the fight, and punch stats show that that was not the case. Your feeling is not supported by the facts yet it's one of the ways you chose to score the fight. Wasn't punch stats the same argument you guys made for why Canelo defeated Lara, trout, cotto, GGG. Hmmmm, guess punch stats are only used to argue when it supports your "feeling" of a scoring method.
