If that would have been the case, then chances are Jacobs probably wouldn't have taken the fight in the first place.

However, I agree that this fight isn't going to come down to weight but to will and skill. I think this is the right time for Jacobs because Canelo could still be emotionally drained from the Golovkin rematch; To the point where he takes his foot off the accelerator and loses focus due to being overconfident.
I'm thinking DJ is the overconfident one. All this ''I'm bigger and longer'' talk. And he is but he will learn when you reach a certain level of opponent, size can be dealt with.

If they were fighting different guys, I'd root for them both to win. Since its head to head, I gotta go with Nelo. Regardless, I hope it doesn't go to the judges.

Really was no point of having second day weighin since ibf changed rules that unification fights don’t have be at 10lb limit

          Period.

I never seen a fighter paid 1 millón of dollars in order to have extra weight .
I think you meant to lose $1mil to have extra weight. Well those were the terms. In addition, none of that would have been relevant had Oscar had not put that demand in the contract because the IBF most certainly didn't.

            Jacobs signed a raw deal

Canelo is allowed to weigh as much as he wants on fight night while jacobs had to weigh no more than 170.

Jacobs better win now or else it's going to look extra bad for him.

1M penalty, that's money down the drain if he don't win.

Right. So it's not a bs stipulation. People should honor contracts or don't sign. I don't get the ''outrage''......

If a dude signs on to fight at 118 but he walks around at 200, don't fu cking cry about being weight drained

... basically, in your view, somebody who seeks to beat his opponent by out-boxing him doesn't deserve to win!... interesting indeed... how old are you?
