Did Floyd ever face someone as risky as Jacobs

Jacobs lost by UD in his home state to GGG and he was very heavy in the ring due to a long time between the weigh in and the fight and him skipping the morning weigh in. I don't think he has looked as good in fights after GGG and he can't skip the morning weigh in this time. Canelo is a solid 4 to 1 betting favorite to win. It's a risk for Canelo but not a huge one.Comment

There's no morning weigh in for unification fights.Jacobs lost by UD in his home state to GGG and he was very heavy in the ring due to a long time between the weigh in and the fight and him skipping the morning weigh in. A lot of that hinges on him being undefeated. Throw a couple losses in there and the conversation changes. That’s the point of examining how challenging his opposition really was I suppose. I was always a fan, but I also felt like he was always a little shy of really challenging himself above 135. When Floyd moved up and faced Castillo in his first fight at 135, it was the last time I really felt Floyd was trying to prove he was the best by making bold moves. He was much more careful at 140 and by the time he got to 147 it was all business.Comment
