Did Floyd ever face someone as risky as Jacobs

I’m a Floyd fan, and I think he would have beat probably all of the fighters he faced in their prime. But I can’t really remember Floyd fighting anyone as risky as Jacobs, especially when he was at Canelos stage of his career. Jacobs is in his prime or close to it, hits hard and knows how to box. jlc? It’s hard to remember the hype back then. But Shane, Oscar, cotto, Judda, Diego, and ortiz were either washed up, b fighters, or elite fighters just past their prime (Still great/tough fighters, but lost a step)

Canelo was very green and I remember the general consensus being he wasn’t ready to face Floyd, including my own. Idc if he had a few fights under his belt, he was like 22 years old and everyone knew he’d lose.

Pac was not on Jacobs level at that time, love pac, but he was past it when they fought. In their primes with explosive manny i would have expected a much more interesting fight, but I’d pick Floyd by a close decision.

The maidana fight was a very tough fight, but not quite on the level of Jacobs.

Have you seen Danny's last 3 fights? Might want to check those out before making threads like this.

Jacobs aint risky. If he was Golden Boy wouldn't have made this fight. It's an easy win for Canelo.

You dont know what you are talking about on so many levels beginning with what you perceive as prime and washed up, then size and weight is not taken into account anywhere, to be honest your post reeks of so many inaccuracies its laughable, Jacobs is not great by any means just a sold fighter thats a danger to anyone at 160, a MW Maidana would possibly beat Jacobs or any other MW, a real 160 Floyd would school the sht out of Jacobs, the thing is you cant compare WW fights to MWs to LWS, so many people underestimate the weights, like Floyd beating a 165 lb Oscar and Manny destroys a 145 Oscar and yet Manny gets credit and Floyd dont, thats the lack of knowledge thats in here, if you reverse the versions of Oscar and Floyd stops him like Manny did, but could Manny beat the 165 Oscar, I dont think he could have, but does the average fan fathom the differences , nope!

Canelo never fought a Canelo type fighter 20lbs bigger than him. Mayweather was the best fighter of the last 25 years, give the guy the credit he deserves even if you don't like him.
