I guess I'm thinking it's cheaper than DAZN so they will go with the cheaper alternative.
Dude. You're all over the place. If someone wants to buy a chicken sandwich at Burger King over McDonalds so be it. If someone buys chicken sandwiches from both places including three more restaurants so be it. If someone says ''fook Mcdonalds'' and messes with Burger King so be it.

Haven't you learned that when we're talking general consumer theory anywhere around the world...the point is there ARE people who pay.

Should you and I put surveillance theory for people walking in and out of a Dairy Queen licking ice cream and why it is they could afford it? Nah I'm good.

I'm telling you, if DAZN Mexico were to land it's because its justified for general consumer theory. It has nothing to do with a general Mexican not knowing what the fook it is we're talking about with PPVs or why you think they're limited to Canelo Alvarez..

Somewhere down the line you forgot about the general overall content that would attract an DAZN app buyer in Mexico. I also don't assume everyone is poor... I mean DAZN Brazil is about to launch because every citizen is rich and they hate MMA!

People liked to make jokes about Bounce TV when PBC was putting shows on there. Saints & Sinners on Bounce gets higher ratings than NHL, MLB, & Boxing.

Thats f#cking crazy & kinda sad we are so behind the UK, Germany & Japan. And somehow behind Russia still.

But with 5G coming into play, making 4G cheaper & hell maybe free at some point who knows & these satellite internet companies this won't always be the case.

I think you're right that PBC & ESPN are doing things right RIGHT NOW with offering both options (to some degree) in relation to what people are ready for.

I think DAZN isn't making a play for RIGHT NOW is the thing for their side of the street. Their first goal they are going for is sustainable now (with boxing & with sports which I think is something people forget, DAZN is sports, not boxing), which is the real debate for them, & betting on the future being streaming & them being a big player in that world where all the money they are throwing out there now pays them off.

I tend to agree with this. I fully expect a partnership with like NBCSports that will allow viewers to see some fights or an option to buy just the fights you want to see.

I think 5G in America is going to run into problems with environmental/health concerns. China dgaf & there is nothing their people can say or do

Funny you mention the sat internet. I almost became an authorized dealer last month!

But when I researched the market In my area most of the potential customers were over an hour away. And unless I'm getting 20 sales a week I wouldn't be able to get my own guys to do the installs. I don't trust others to do the installs and I'd be getting paid for the sales & installs my guys did. And the pricing is such that it's only beneficial to get this service where broadband isn't available.

Oh yea this thing is getting combined more in the future no question. Thats why I don't really care all that much about this "no one is gonna wanna buy 20 apps for $10/mo each" argument (which I obviously don't disagree with being a problem) or those sorta topics cuz thats a problem that is getting fixed sooner rather than later. I wouldn't be surprised if someone is already trying to make a more user payment friendly & cheaper "20 app for $10/mo" company as we speak.

One thing I also don't think people realize with DAZN is they are working with Showtime Boxing & UFC both right now in other countries. So if a mfer is in Germany he's watching Matchroom, GBP, Showtime Boxing & the UFC on DAZN. I fully expect more of this to go on. And ESPN is doing more of this to with getting US rights to foreign guys. PBC is kinda behind the times with that with only working with the UK on a regular basis afaik.

Great Post! But people will ignore stats and facts to push their own narrative

How much is this legit? And is 5G legit in threat of not happening? I keep hearing sh^t, but there are so many Alex Jones types out there who are scared of their shadows & the government taking their guns & bs like that that its hard to take some sh^t that maybe should be taken seriously serious. And if the risk to people is like 0.35% more than all the wires & bs around us now I don't see it stopping 5G from happening.

Interesting & yea that don't sound like a great situation, but yea the satellite thing is in play with helping streaming broaden its market in the long game. Its surprising how many areas aren't covered or covered well with internet & if you've been to an area like that its like living in a 3rd world country.

I'm not sure but I do know anytime something like this is involved the environmentalist can make it like turning a ship at sea, takes a long time. China doesn't have to worry about that
