The offers were called lowball, they weren’t interested remember.

Nobody is sending a contract to a rejected verbal offer ffs.

Only after Hearn said he could expose them did they get all interested.

Trouble is American fans aren't British fans and can see right thru this. Same story again , different fighter.
You think the real truth will be the complete opposite of everything we already know to be true as both sides have publicly commented on it?

      Good luck.

The money offered was 7-8m when it comes out next week, will show the world Ortiz is a coward hiding

It’s clear the promoter lied about the 5m, when Hearn exposed it, team Ortiz now saying they had nothing to do with rejecting Joshua because they want to save face

Fk Ortiz and fk wilder, con jobs ducking Joshua
OMG people need to stop to blame the fighters for fights not happening! I see it all the time here! Blame the promoters, not the fighters damn it! For the most part the fighters cant choose their opponents, the promoters do it. Fighters have nothing to say.

Joshua would win but let's not act like he's just smashing out quality opposition in three rounds on the reg.

Just in, the offer was over 5 times Ortiz biggest Payday. Ortiz trainer, manager hid the offer from him and Luis.

AJ wants Wilder but he's not as easy as you think. I understand your point and Wilder has been exposed a bit but he hits hard.

Eddie, save yourself the stress. Ortiz will never step in there with AJ. I knew this all along.
Looking forward to HW's with a heart, not these sisi's putting on skirt.

It just does not make any sense at all that soo many supposed HW 'contenders' are turning down the offer of a lifetime.

Either they are not prepared to fight A.J out of fear, or there is something going on we are not aware of.

This really exposes how shallow the American HW scene is.

If Ortiz is the best of the contenders then that leaves a lot to be said about the depth of HW talent in the U.S.

Rumours are he will end up facing Mexican contender Andy Ruiz Jr - simply because after Whiner, there isn't a comparable U.S HW worthy of facing A.J - who flew all the way here to face an opponent in his backyard - which is quite rare these days.

A lot of top fighters never have a single fight outside Las Vegas their entire careers.

Unfortunately not strictly true - the more star power and leverage a fighter has, the more power he has in determining who his next opponent is.

Mikey Garcia is a good recent example. No way his handlers would've wanted him going around with Errol Spence, but HE demanded the fight gets made.

Similar situation with Wilder v Fury - although in this case, Wilder thought he was going to ice the expected ring rusty gipsy so I imagine he demanded Haymon get on board and make the fight.

You are right about fighters who don't care about legacy or don't have enough brand exposure, money-making potential.

Hearn is going to "tell you next week what Louis Ortiz was offered"?? Why not give em' what Miller was offered and call it a day? If Ortiz is somehow now occupied on some PED cycling fiasco, well too bad for Mr. Ortiz, he just cycled himself into lower paydays and lower respect....but I'm sure Hearn has heard of Ortizs disapproval of his managements handling of the deal (we have).

So why not keep negotiations going - instead of some anticlimactic "wait till next week" dud to entertain the Zombie Poshualites? Aside from the top three, NO ONE has the Ortiz level fear factor. Everything at the moment has bum relief written all over it. Hearn will gladly go for the relief to showboat & showcase his pampered commercial zimbot
