I posted this already but here goes:
trainers do NOT get 10% of $100 million for running 10 training camps. Does anybody think Floyd Sr got $25 mil for training JR for the mc Gregor fight ?
A trainers pay maxes out about 400k and it is fantastic money, and they can train fighters all year round too, unlike the fighter. If a boxer did that his 100 mil would be gone in no time,Comment

Golovkin didn't need him to knock all of those C level fighters he beat. Abel sounds greedy IMO. As a trainer he should already know he's subject to be replaced or to have his pay cut. Especially since Golvokin is already very advanced in his career and style.Comment

Not sure I trust either side’s version of events now! £2m for 6 fights seems good but not so good when you know there’s much more available.Comment

its unfortunate they are parting on bad terms, but this is quite common when fighters get to a certain revenue point. Pretty much everyone switches their trainers from percentage to flat-fee once they start getting north of $5 or $10 million per fight. Floyd did it, Pac, Oscar, Cotto, even Hops. But of course when GGG does it, its an outrage!!!!! LOL
Perhaps once Wilder does it then this forum will suddenly decide how wise and appropriate it is lolComment

Available for who though ? Its not like hes in the big fights, there is for sure a price limit on running a training camp. Wouldnt it be fantastic if all employers did that ha haComment

it doesn't really matter , if as a trainer you are getting a few hundred grand standing outside the ropes you are seriously overpaid and winningComment
