What would you consider a lowball offer? Bare in mind his biggest payday was 500K for a title shot in which he lost. You don't get paid more after a loss, you get paid less. Otherwise David Price would be the biggest earner in the division.

Miller is young and undefeated, has fought better opposition than Ortiz in recent years, is from New York, speaks English and knows how to promote a fight. He's also making more per fight than Ortiz and has/had more opportunities ahead of him.

Ortiz is old, already lost to Wilder, has fought suspect opposition in his last 5 fights (excluding the Wilder fight), is not American, does not speak English and is not a draw.

And you can bet both Hunter and Ruiz are willing to take the fight for far less than what was offered to Ortiz. Plus they are 10 more guys begging for the fight.

Ortiz has no leverage. He is at end of his career and will not get a chance like this again. What Ortiz and his team have just done is the equivalent of winning the lottery and burning the ticket.

It's a shame ur riding Hearns coattail that hard. Ticket prices isn't going to go down and it's going to be an DAZN card right so any replacement Hearns can find will not be as good as Ortiz even Miller himself. Best win was 4 years ago from a guy coming off a loss . just goes to show how important involving smart people around you, Ortiz really has none ,where filling out simple paper work has got him in trouble and cost himself an Aj fight when he was kicked out of the WBA rankings last year. .
