Win the goddamn fight and things would change. Seems to have no interest in really winning, just getting paid the Haymon extra to lose to Wilder, just like Mikey
Winning belts doesn't guarantee more money for fights. People don't pay to see the title belts paraded around.

    • “With Al Haymon I never have these money issues. He knows how to treat people fair"

He got 400k for the Wilder fight.

Ortiz is dirty right now or afraid.

      • Whatever he was offered, it's more than he would've made if Miller hadn't tested positive.

Short notice sure? But I dunno man, stay in shape all year round and you're ready to go when an opportunity presents its self.

        • Don't quite understand this, ******. But PBC folks like to work alone

          • Well....there goes that. Head down to the local watering hole and find an opponent.

            • Ortiz in Feb when Miller was being lined up to face Joshua (https://www.boxingscene.com/luis-ort...ilable--136013):

“So look, if you want to fight I’m here and stop saying I priced myself out because I’ve never had no offers to fight you. With all respect to you for all you have done, I’ll fight you for just about any money you offer me so if you can’t work out the Miller fight, I’m here and ready. I’ll fight you in the USA or UK. It’s on you and if you think you’re that good and want to test yourself who better than me? Wilder and Fury are not available and I believe in my heart to be the best you must face the best."

I don't see how anybody can attempt to spin Ortiz' own damn words. Money didn't matter then, now he had a chance at the fight it does matter so he's just put up a roadblock to avoid fighting Joshua.

              • These guys don't want none of the AJ smoke. **** 'em.

I was pro Wilder and against AJ but over time I've become an AJ fan. And Hearn is doing his thing like he is supposed to.

Hope AJ knocks all these yahoo's the **** out.

                • Either Eddies or AJ don't really want Ortiz or Ortiz doesn't want AJ. I am curious about the number though...

                  • Luis Ortiz already beat wilder, that being said Ortiz is probably on the juice right now and doesn't wanna risk getting caught

                    • Ruiz is willing, but the optics are weak.
