Yeah.... And all the money goes into wilder's pocket. The money was so much that he could sell any more ppv's and decided to do it for the fans on regular TV.-350k on the US PPV, at $75 per PPV; use the rule of thumb share and that's $13m-$14m into the pot.
-The live gate on the event was over $3.5m; add in event sponsors, etc and it's easily over $5m as the take.
-No real guess at what the fight did on BT Sport Box Office, but for argument's sake let's say it's $5m.
-Other revenues; Fathom Events, rest of the international TV, other sponsors, etc.
And that's likely an incomplete synopsis of the streams. Not that hard
Lolx.... Didn't know you were one of the ******s on this forum until now.
Congratulations.Comment

these guys hope and rely on fans being ******. that's the only explanation for some arguments i've seen on this site.
man... there's no crime against liking a fighter or promoter. everyone on this forum is a fan of someone. just don't go about insulting people's intelligence.Comment

you said wilder made 25 million. he did not. if the "event" was such a huge success they would be doing more ppv's since they like making money. if you actually look at the revenue that was generated in a realistic way and dont pretend that "other sources" brought in tens of millions of dollars in phantom revenue then it wasnt a success. they had to pay the fighters you know. they had to pay everyone who worked, they had to spend a lot on marketing/advertising. you dont know those costs just like you dont know the "other sources" of revenue you just admitted you flat out guessed how much the other sources brought in but you never guess how much it costs to do the event? its free!Last edited by daggum; 04-24-2019, 10:25 PM.Comment

lets say its 50 dollars. for arguments sake.
how much revenue does that generate? are we just supposed to guess? of course you are going to guess millions and millions and it all goes to wilder? what about the more than likely millions of dollars spent on promoting the event? is that monopoly money? if you make 25 million but spend 30 did you really make any money?Comment
