First, I was like, "Cool, he's prepping for 135 and starting his seasoning a little there, before his Loma fight."

Gamboa (for skill and name) and Fortuna (toughness, weight, and experience) were on top of my list for his official debut at lightweight. When someone mentioned it's going to be at 130, I lost interest. Gamboa will be totally drained.

Not digging it. I won't be talking about it if he fights Gamboa at 130!

(I don't like the Farmer fight either, but at 130, it is better than Gamboa.)

Good to know you rate Davis so highly. I won't get into Gamboa's background and credentials.

I don't like the fight at 130. Davis should fight the best he can find at 130, if the plan is to stay at the 130. He should drop that garbage WBA belt too and fight the best competition available with the best money possible.
