IF Steele stepped away and told MT to come to him, the final bell would have sounded.
Steele then stopped the Tyson-Ruddock I too early too.
Steele was a pitboss at the Golden Nugget . Steve Wynn still owned some of the Golden Nugget .
Don King and JCC were signed to fight at the Mirage.

My thinking also. I also think that if Chavez was allowed to hit Taylor even one more time, Taylor may well have died.Comment

That fight where the guy got dropped and then was hit when down (or something like that?) Joe Cortez spent forever fielding suggestions from people at ringside about what to do as the guy sat on the floor pissing with blood wondering wtf was going on.Comment

Joe Cortez during Mayweather vs. Hatton, he would not allow Hatton to get on the inside.
Kenny Bayless during Mayweather vs. Maidana II, allowed Mayweather to "ref" the fight.
Whoever the ref was for Khan vs. Peterson, that was some home cooking on those point deductions.
Tony Weeks not calling low blows and fouls during Ward vs. Kovalev II
Jack Reiss not controlling Ward's dirty tactics during Ward vs. KesslerComment

Picking from recent memory:
That Ref that did the Librdo Andrade and Lucian Bute fight was god awful. No one can tell me he didnt get paid or have a vested interest in Bute winning that fight, so blatant. Robbed Andrade of his moment and he was never the same after that. Sad is that I still see this dude refereeing fights as recent as last month.
Another awful one is Kenny Bayless, obviously in Mayweather's pocket. Mayweather- Maidana 2, Floyd was visibly hurt and Bayless broke the action and keep asking Floyd in the middle of the action, are you okay depriving Maidana of his kill moment or at least attempt to
Same thing he did with McGregor -Mayweather when McGregor hurt him bad to the body. Broke the action and ruled it low blow when it was no where near that.Comment
