What did Hearn have Joshua do when he won a title? Make two quick defenses before turning his sights to Klitschko.

In both instances, when Finkel wanted to do, and what Hearn ended up doing, were what any competent handler would do.

Why is Wilder crucified for his manager wanting to do the exact thing Joshua ended up doing?
Joshua was 16 fights into his career at that stage... Wilder was 33. Big difference and you know it.

When i'm mentioning that Joshua was 16 fights into his career and then mention that Wilder was 33 do I really need to add 'fights into his career' at the end of that just so you can understand me?

so every fighter in history must be brought along at the same exact speed as joshua before their first title shot? what if joshua is the greatest fighter that ever lived? a savant who developed quicker than any man alive?

that means it was unreasonable for a kid who picked up his first pair of gloves at 19 to try to at least get 50 rounds under his belt before fighting for the world title?

well sometimes i not so sure...i see some absurd stuff written by AJ fans on a daily basis....so i needed clarification

but what does it matter? if it took wilder 33 fights to get his title it is what it is.....what the poster was saying is that after he got his belt he was working on the same exact plan AJ had

both guys are late starters in the sport...but AJ is like 4 years younger

the point wasnt how many fights it took...the point is once wilder got his belt he was working the same plan that AJ did with klitschko

At no point did I say that every fighter has to be brought along at the same speed as Joshua... you're now just inventing an argument to avoid my point. It is inevitable in every circumstance that a world champion 33 fights into his career is going to be expected to face tough competition and thus when his own manager at the time was saying that he was a 'baby heavyweight' and wasn't ready to face Klitschko he was going to get some stick.

Also it's probably worth noting that Eric Molina was a last-minute replacement for Klitschko when Klitschko decided he wanted more time before fighting Joshua... thus Hearn and Finkel weren't even working to the same plan as you call it.

That's not Wilder's fault.. I understand that AJ couldn't accept the 50 million bc of his contract with sky.. but eddie openly admits that he wanted to build the fight first with Povetkin. Wilder felt disrespected.. and now wants 50/50 which is fair.. considering, both men are risking their lives equally.. and AJ isn't shadow boxing in the ring by himself.. at Wembley in front of 70,000 brits.. and Wilder is the biggest and most interesting Draw vs AJ in the UK.. and he brings the entire American market.. and 50/50 split will give eddie and AJ the highest paycheck to date.. even if they give Wilder 50/50.. but the problem is greed. Eddie thinks he can do whatever he wants and make all the cash.. while the two fighters beat each other to death. Smh.. *** eddie.. snake headed b*stard.. im not hating on AJ no moe bc of that fool.. it took me a while.. but its these lame azz promoters/ managers that are ***ing everything up.. this goes for shelly.. u slimy rat bastard.. and frank warren's pop eyed, goldfish looking azz!!! An triple *** bob arum's fat killer clown from outerspace looking azz! Lol. Its about the fighters taking the risks.. not the pieces of ***** taking advantage of fighters and fixing their lips to say what another man risking his life deserves.. *** them.. Im turning on the promoters now.. us fans need to band together.. U.S and U.K fans.. and lets pay all fighters what they deserve for risking their lives to entertain us!
Wilder brings the entire american market....lol!! he is the most unpopular multiyear US HW champ EVER!! one ppv fight in 40 fights and years as champ - and ONLY thanks to Fat FLABBY Fury who he got a gift draw against! has one belt to AJ's 3...50/50?? ridiculous!

Dnt be a clown. 12.5mil is a huge offer when you are still fighting for 2mil.
