I thought Charlo won but I wouldn't mind seeing that fight again either with BOTH Charlo and Korobov having a full Camp to Prepare for each other

But Charlo/Golovkin will require Charlo (PBC) to fight on DAZN. Golovkin isn't going to go fight on Fox/Showtime given the deal with DAZN that includes giving him equity in DAZN and also guaranteed dates for his GGG promotions company in the future (that currently has no fighters...but that's clearly his plan once he takes stage left, and he's got guaranteed dates to sign fighters into).

DAZN wants/needs Golovkin vs Canelo/Jacobs winner at the end of the year, so they don't want Golovkin losing before September, so expect a Fielding type fight (which Golovkin will get a cool 10mil for !).

PBC's offer to Golovkin was a 2 fight deal, with each fight 10mil+, with one of those fights being Charlo (presumably the second one after a similar 'Fileding level' fight to kick off with).

Can't see any way Charlo v Golovkin happens given the network affiliations.

CLeaRly? Lol that’s why media and fans were mixed on who won lol. Mall don’t wanna run it back with a b level fighter who took the fight on short notice and exposed him.

Dervy (WBC rated 7) has business to attend to in April vs Culcay (WBC rated 6 for some reason), so Charlo vs Dervy after that would indeed seem like the obvious fight to make. Would mean waiting a while though, and Dervy would go in having been more active unless Charlo takes a fight in the interim. No idea who he would fight though, most of the other WBC rankings are either tied up with DAZN or 'who dat?'.

Yeah, nothing clear about it. I though Charlo won, but given Korobov well past his best, off weight, under-prepared, etc etc, Charlo looked Korobov's equal and far from his alleged elite standing.

Doesn't really matter if its Korobov next or not, if Dervy for example, we'll find out if Charlo just had a bad night or not. for Charlo to live up to his hype he should have done the same to Korobov as Canelo did to Fielding. Can you imagine Canelo struggling to a decision win over Fielding ? That's how we know Canelo a different league, he makes it show vs out-gunned opponents.

At least Korobov proved the hype train is dogs***. The division can move on.

That said thats why I give certain fighters massive respect more than others, its like Canelo after mayweather, everyone said he got exposed & would duck fighters that are his stylistic kryptonite but he took the Lara fight to prove himself & still continues to do so to this day despite the hate he gets for not destroying the elite like other fighters do vs weaker opposition. Andrade is still avoiding charlo imho,& hes the fighter with by far the most to prove still at mw.
I have the utmost respect for Canelo's resume! He got schooled by Floyd, but he was damn there young enough to still be in school! But who cares? He learned a lot from that fight, and it made him a better fighter! Andrade is just a mess! I expect to see him do better, now that he's on the same network as so many MW champions, and former champions! If he beats Sulecki, and doesn't fight, Canelo, Jacobs, or GGG next, I'm done with him!

The winner of Dervy vs. Culcay become's IBF mandatory! The winner of Canelo vs. Jacobs has to fight him! Dervy won't fight Charlo while waiting for a title shot! Charlo needs a big fight! I see nothing out there (PBC) besides Plant @ 168! Where are the Falcao Brothers?

Korobov only got the fight due to being in a weakened state. After exposing the hypejob his name won't get a look in any time soon. Maybe in a couple of years when you're really looking shot to pieces you'll get it.
