Joe did beat Hopkins. Even Bernard knew it which is why he started all the theatrics by trying to get points docked from Joe. He also came to make it ugly, but it wasn't enough. Joe just set a pace that was too much.

Joe fought Jones after Hopkins you idiot. But even before the Hopkins fight, joe said he's having 2 more fights and then he's done. His hands were really bad plus he achieved everything he set out to achieve. It had zero to do with Bernard. But continue with your typical American version of events that having absolutely nothing to do with fact or reality.
